NorthHarbor Road: Tar Valon, Tar Valon

The street is paved with large chunks of white stone, making the road smooth for travel. This being one of the older sections of Tar Valon, tell tale signs of Ogier stonework can be seen all around with statues, friezes and crevices all over the varying inns, shops and homes. Most buildings are made to look as if they are some kind of breaking wave on the seashore or a shell, with their varying outward appearances.

Pastels, deep crimsons, violets and other bright shades seem to burst out everywhere as flowers begin to bloom once again. The air is cool and light with a new feeling to it. The sun is high in the sky, shining down on the people as they burst with activity, moving from shop to shop or even from home to home, go get their daily chores done.

Northwest opens up into a rather large square, called the River Plaza, which continues on toward the NorthHarbor Docks. Southeast looms the White Tower, that seems to spire high in the sky and watch over the people in Tar Valon. Tower guards stand on either side of the gate, watching people enter and leave with a hawkish eye. To the south, one may enter Alindrelle Square.

Contents: Morcath, Meeko

Morcath leaves Alindrelle Square, seemingly out for a pleasant walk away from the Tower. However relaxed he may try to appear, though, the very observant would notice that he never fully loses his Gaidin awareness of everything around him.

Meeko steps out of the Council office and pauses as she sites the Guard Office. Sadness still fills her eyes as she looks at the building. She then glances to the courthouse, that awful place where a friend was sentenced to death, a friend gone mad for whatever reason no one will ever know. So shocking the revelations of he in service to the evil one, hard to believe. Meeko doesn't notice anyone at this point.

Morcath has, of course, seen Meeko. He hesitates a moment and then moves over toward you. When he gets to within a decent distance, he says, "Meeko... It is good to see you." He offers a small smile, perhaps trying to reassure you. Meeko jumps as she hears her name, not good her guard is down and Keats is not with her today. She turns and swollows before speaking "Hello Morc how are you doing?" she manages a small smile in return.

Morcath replies, "I am doing well, thank you. I hope you are alright as well." His look suggests he is asking. "Where were you going this afternoon, my dear Sage, and is there anything I can do to help you out?" Shrugging Meeko replies softly "I am as well as can be expected." she looks to you "I was going to get a bite of lunch before having to complet the piles of work at the office. You are welcome to come with me if you want." Meeko is simply not herself yet.

Morcath nods and offers you his arm. "I would like that, I think. We have not spent as much time together as we used to and I must admit, I miss that." He walks with you a little and then asks, "Did Maria say anything about our brief lunch together?"

Meeko takes the offered arm "Yes since I have been Ambassador it is very difficult to have much free time. Then all that with the people so hungry and the trouble the Savior caused I am surprised I can still function." she sighs a bit "I will be running again for High Ambassador and I hope that court trial has not biased the people, you know how some are even if a statement is not true." she grins the looks at you "Yes he said you were a perfect gentleman Morc."

Morcath nods slowly and says, "I.. hope I did not say anything to hurt you at the trial, Meeko. I would not like to have done that." He smiles then and says, "Well, I enjoyed it quite a bit. They reminded me a little of the teas we used to have... pleasant company and quite beautiful as well." Morcath lets you set the pace, his is always too fast. "I think I would like to see her again, do you think she would be willing?"

Meeko stops in ther tracks "Morcath you did what was expected of you in your position and anything less would have been totally unacceptable." Beginning to walk again Meeko nod "I think it would be good for her Morc but go slow she is a bit naieve when it comes to relationships and all."

Morcath smiles and says, "I will go as slowly as she feels comfortable, you should know that." He looks over at you and gives you a sly wink, quipping, "Besides, I'm only using her to get to her employer, a woman I would very much like to see /more/ of." He tries to keep a straight face at the teasing.

Meeko rolls her eyes "Morcath it would never work out between us. I am to independant and stubborn for any man it seems." a tinge of sadness is in her voice but would only be detectable by someone that knows her well.

Morcath laughs and pats your hand. "Silly Sage, I know it would not work out between us. I'm not half as blind as most people think." He chuckles and asks, "Where did you want to have lunch?"

Meeko chuckles softly "I don't know Morcath, I simply want something light so my stomach does not start making noise when I am speaking with the people at the office." she ponders "oh maybe something sweet, do you know a good place?'

Morcath shakes his head and says, "I rarely eat in the city anymore. Anywhere you pick will be fine, I'm sure. There is the Candlekeep, they had a nice stew when Maria and I went. At least, i thought it was good."

Meeko nods "I suppose that would be fine, I am sure they will have some sweets there." she nods to some of the shoppkeeper as they pass "Morcath I am shocked that Kirill was what he claimed? How do we really know that it was real or if that drug make him dilusional? How do we know that an ill man was not killed rathar that an evil one?" This has been very troubling to Meeko lately.
