Summary:Council meets to discuss aid to Lorndale: Council meets to determine the amount of aid to be given to Lorndale.

City Council Office, Tar Valon

This area is not at all what you'd expect. Rather than the traditional desk covered with papers, you note a ring of overstuffed chairs. There is a tea service on the far wall, above which is a sign, "Help Yourself." A door in the back leads to what is presumably a more private area, but this looks as if a large gathering could come and express grievances easily, freely, and comfortably.

Adri comes in off the street.

Adri comes ambling out of his office with his carrying bag full of papers and what not. Not in the most neetly ordered state on this particular day it would seem. he is here though and that's what counts

Valencia sweeps into the room, flicking her gaze over its occupants momentarily. Weste receives a brief nod before Valencia finds someplace out of the way to stand, in silence.

Amongst the petitioners to be heard today, there is a trio of people sitting closeby; a young woman and two young men. They all have that distinct look of being country villagers. For those who were there to witness their entrance, they are much cleaner and a bit more calmer than before, though, worry lines still marr the brow of the young woman. They are all speaking quietly amongst themselves, not wishing to disturb the others while they wait for the day's proceedings to begin.

Weste enters the office chambers, without her shawl for once. The ring on her finger identifies her position though, as does the ageless face that is about halfway formed upon her. She takes a seat near the middle of the room, giving Valencia and Adri a pleasant nod.

Meeko rushes in a bit rumpled "I am so sorry I am late, but deliveries do not wait for anyone." she smiles to those in the room. Turning to Adri "I trust you have read the information I gave you regarding the delegation that is here for aide?" she then notices Weste and smiles "How are you Weste and how is my godchild?" Meeko then walks over to her desk and sits, motioning her guard to relax for a bit as she feels safe here.

Adri returns said nod absently and proceeds to go play politics. The High Councilor moves into the room and begins mingling with the people there, trying to get a general idea of the things that might be up that his secretary might have failed to put into itinerary.

Faleen wonders in from the back room with a young waif following. The young girl pushes out a cart with an array of drinks, glasses and snaks for the meeting. Faleen then nods to the others and takes a seat pulling out her notepad.

Claire looks up from the two young men she's been sitting with amongst the petitoners. She murmurs quietly to one, "Look, there's one of the representatives we talked to the other day. What was her name... Meilo? Meia? Meeko?" The last she seems to recognize, "Meeko, yes, that's it." She nods her head in the affirmative as she speaks.

Adri nods his head as he moves away from the rushing council woman. "I did look it over." is all he says to that. He's ina rather somber mood and after a few hand shakes and a few meaningless political exchanges with some of the cities high rollers, Adri finds himself standing before the small group of country folks. Quite and odd occurrance to see their sort here. He nods his head politely. "Hello there. I trust our city is treating you well?" yes, ever the concerned one

Keats wanders in and nods to those Meeko greets, and once more as she orders him to relax. And he actually does that, somewhat. He takes a seat near the front that oh so conveniently opens up for him, so that he can watch the council members and hopefully anyone that will come close.

"Claire, you're always forgetting things," the younger of the two men with her speaks. He snorts slightly, "But, ya, I think that's it." His voice is a spoken a little louder than necessary.

Weste smiles warmly and nods to Meeko. "Kaehn is doing well, Meeko. Growing up quite quickly. I hope you can come visit him soon," she says.

Adri is an odd looking fellow. A contradiction in terms by most standards. It seems as though the body of a warrior has somehow been put into the suite of a business man. He stands about 6' give or take depending on his mood and has broad shoulders. There is strength in him, quite a lot of it actually, but where that strength might be concentrated is anyone's guess as his odd attire keeps it nicely concealed. His facial features are fairly non-descript. His hair is short black and professionally arranged. His eyes are a dull gray. The only thing one might remember is his perpetual smile. This man finds life in general amusing and it shows. His attire is stricly business. A white shirt tucks down into cacky colored pants. He wears a matching vest over the shirt with a number of pockets 2 of which are connected to one another with a gold chain. To complete the outfit he wears a brown dress jacket with pockets at the sides. His hands are covered with black leather. On one finger he wears a briliant ruby ring...the dark red seems literally to burn against the dark leather. He carries with him an ebony cane with a mid sized golden sphere set into the pomel. Nice and heavy. The finishing touch is put onto the outfit by Adri's favorite pair of snake skin boots. They are all but concealed by his pants, but the clicking sound of his silver spurs is unmistakeable. All said, Adri is a business man who knows exactly how to get what he wants.

"Cristov.." The older man's voice warns slightly, speaking to the young man who just spoke to Claire, "keep it down." He starts a bit as Adri addresses their little group. "Yes, thank you, m'Lord." Surely, anyone dressed as Adri is dressed is a Lord. "We have been treated well thus far."

Adri smiles and looks through a number of papers he has stuffed into his carrying bag. "I would expect no less." He rustles through the papers. "You are here to present a petition before the council are you not?"

Meeko chuckles at Cristov's comment to Adri but say's nothing "Well shall we begin this meeting?" she pauses a moment to gather her thoughts "I have found a few men willing to take the journy back to your town and help with the repairs but I fear it will not be enough." she turns back to Adri "Have you contacted some from the entertainers guild for aid as I requested?"

Claire exchanges glances with her travelling partners, and is the one to answer this question, "Yes, we are, m'Lord." Since Adri did not correct Bartok, no sense in her angering him by not speaking the same appellation. "Though it may seem a small concern to your council, it is one of grave importance to us." That worry stays upon her brow.

Faleen simply listens and takes notes as a good secretary would. When none are looking she occasionally glares at Meeko.

Adri nods his head in a semi distracted manner as Meeko sets to pestering him about little details. You would think she were the one running this council by the look of things."Yes...yes.." he responds before looking back to the country folks and putting his politician's smile back on. "We will be certain to make time to hear what you have to say." that said, he begins moving on...Shakes a few more hands and heads up to his seat in the center of the room

The three villagers collectively shift in their seats, not at all comfortable in such a large room with such a large gathering. The one called Cristov murmurs in Claire's ear, who in turn murmurs to Bartok, pinpointing Claire as the middle person of the three. They remain huddled, and generally out of the way of the others, patiently waiting for their voice to be heard.

Considering Adri is rarely around when one needs him and Meeko has had to deal with the merchants problems and Gerrick then this she rolls her eyes at Adri seemingly impatient response. Watches Adri do his political bit. What a contrast the two he is so wrapped in his formality and his secretary and Meeko the simple woman. For now Meeko sits quietly and waits, giving Claire a reassuring look as they wait for the great one to start dealing with what is important.

Faleen smiles to the gathering "Please help yourself to a drink and snack anytime."

Adri isn't really wrapped up in anything or anyone at the moment. He's an unhappy man going through the motions. Once he seats himself, his eyes look to the rest of the room, waiting for the other council members to get to their seats so this meeting can be begun.

Meeko waits for Adri to sit then moves to the main table.

Weste watches the proceeding with interest. She's always planned on attending one of these gatherings, but has never gotten around to it until now.

Valencia folds her hands and continues to stand off to one side, declining offers of refreshment from the one pushing the cart with a simple shake of her head. Cool blue eyes flick over the various council members, almost appraisingly.

Keats's eyes wander around the room, watching everyone and everythign and looking very bored just the same.

Adri looks down at the papers before him. Excellent, not much on the agenda for today. Well, he decides he is done waiting on people and elects to prod them into getting to their seats. He grabs his gavel and bangs it against the table once or twice to get everyone's attention. He then speaks in a clear, if abrupt voice. "This meeting of the High Council of Tar valon is called to order."

Adri pages Meeko and Claire: :must go pick up his wife from her class in about 20 minutes, so we should probably get Claire done first.

Bartok is the first amongst the three villagers to sit up a little taller. Claire and Cristov follow his example. All of them look ahead, eyes on the man who just greeted them a few moments ago. Claire lifts a thoughtful brow, though seems just as surprised as her travelling companions.

Adri looks out over the crowd, eyes watching the varius council members as they finally get to their seats. He glances down at his notes once again before speaking. "Our first order of business this day should be to hear the petitions brought before us. Witht hat in mind, I motion that the floor be given to those in attendance. Is there a second?"

Meeko speaks up "Second." she again smiles to Claire and her group hoping to give them some peace of mind.

Adri nods his head. "The motion has been seconded. We will take petition requests in the order they are presented to the Social Secretary." That said, he leaves it up to people to tell Faleen they wish to speak.

Faleen sits up straight and tall and awaits the petitions comeing to her.

Cristov watches quietly, his eyes going to the ones up front, narrowing them slightly. He is, of course, the troublemaker in their small group. He mumbles something to Claire with a bit of impatience, who motions in return for him to be quiet.

Faleen gathers togethers the papers, drops them as she rises. She then shakes her head and mutters a bit as she picks them up all in a mess and quickly straightens them, caring little for any order. She see's one left on the desk and places it on top, it belongs to Claire's group. Faleen then walks over to Adri and places the heap in front of him before returning to her seat.

Adri looks to the papers and then his eyes travel about the room. It takes him a moment to spot the country bumkins but eventually he finds them. After a moment's contemplation he removes the glasses he has taken to wearing when he reads and states. "Looks like your first."

Meeko chuckles at the bumbling Faleen, she never understood what Adri saw in that woman. Growing more serious she turns her attention to the group to listen to them retell their tale. She really hopes Adri will use some sense and aid these people properly.

Swallowing, Claire rises, motioning for the others to follow her. Bartok and Cristov rise as well, not needing to be prompted. All three walk together to the front of the room, where petitioners are to stand to plead their case, or request, whatever the case may be. "Thank you, m'Lord. Our case is a small one, in some respects, but large in others." Claire begins, looking to Bartok for some support. He smiles, motioning for her to continue. "You might have heard of the floods plagueing the northern lands recently, or if you have not, they certainly are. Lorndale, our simple village, is located just on the edge of the Erinin River. It is slowly being flooded as the waters continue to rise from the rains of the spring and run off of the wintry snows from Arafel. While our problems are small in comparison to theirs, we still need some aid in helping us to maintain our homes."

Adri leans forward against his desk. "What would you have us do?" he inquires very simply. Always better to be given a plan by another then to spend ones time formulating your own.

For this, it is Bartok, the older gentlemen of the two men with Claire who answers. His voice deeply rumbles, "We have been sent to request spare hands in helping to build temporary shelters for our people." He wrinkles his nose at his wording, not quite liking it, though he continues, "We also need help in building walls, bagged sands, to help keep the flooding waters out of our homes, and repairing some of the damage done. Extra food would help, but not something that we are in dire need."

Cristov glares at Bartok, and the things he forgot, "Blankets and bedclothing would be helpful as well. While it is spring, the chill hasn't gone away. All of that which we have is soaked, or beyond repair."

Meeko speaks up "I have a wagon full of blankets, bedclothing, food and other necessities ready from the generous donations of the people in the town." she looks to Adri "And as I said there are some that have already volunteered to go help the town but we do need more people."

Adri nods his head. "I shall see to it that word gets to the people of Tar valon that we are looking for volunteers, and that the city will pay those volunteers what it can for their services." eyes go to Aes Sedai representative. "An Aes Sedai could likely do volumes more in this instance then 100 strong backs. You may wish to relate this request for help to your sisters." Adri states bluntly. Now to Meeko. "Will that do?"

Claire's eyes follow Adri's gaze to the Aes Sedai at the meeting. Her face pales slightly, still unused to being around such creatures of Power. She wrings her hands together, exchanging glances with her fellow travelling partners, before looking back to the High Council seats.

Meeko shakes her head "They do not wish the help of the Sedai Adri." she sighs "I thought you read the notes I left for you or did that secretary of yours misplace them again?" she then smiles to Claire and the others "I am sure we will be able to find enough in the farms here to aid." Meeko suddenly remembers Shallenne's work "Shallenee Maybe some of the hands from Kirill's farm can aid us?"

Faleen looks up, glares at Meeko then returns to her notetaking. Afterall note taking is tedious and important work.

"I have already rounded up quite a few who are willing to travel and assist once the word is given," Shallenne replies with a nod, though none from Kirill's farm. That place has almost fallen to ruin, save for the small part that she tends to. "And I am sure that many more could be found in the next few days."

Adri snorts. "They will take what aid we offer them. If that is the aid of the Aes Sedai then so be it. If they do not care for it, then their town can wash away." Adri states with more then a bit of trrepidation. He rises from his seat. Yes something is truly nagging at the man. "You all will please excuse me, i have something I must go and do. He looks to Meeko. "Do continue the meeting."

Meeko nods to Shallenne, nearly acting as though Adri is not even around but everyone knows a woman can get more accomplished in a shorter amount of time "Very good, and with the wagon I have ready we sould be able to send them on their way tomorrow."

Claire casts a grateful look to both Shallenne and Meeko, though remains quiet until her voice might be needed again. Off to the side, Cristov makes some comment under his breath. Bartok elbows him for whatever it is. At Adri's words, Claire's face pales even more, and almost seems to fall, though she keeps it as straight and neutral as possible.

Faleen shakes her head as Adri leaves but contiues her duties as best she can.

Frowning slightly at Adri's words, Shallenne turns her attention to Claire. "I'm sure we won't force the Aes Sedai on you," she glances to Meeko for confirmation of that. "But it /would/ be in your best interests to accept the help of the Warders. Or if not them, then at least the trainees. They are young, strong and well-disciplined. They could accomplish the task so much more quickly than others we might round up alone."

Valencia watches the proceedings with her usual expression of neutrality, though one slender brow does quirk faintly at something or another that is said. Beyond that, she does not move.

Cristov looks to be in the verge of saying something rather rude back to Adri, but is stopped by a hardened look from Bartok. He grunts, and simply crosses his arms.

Once Bartok is done dealing with Cristov, he turns his attention to Shallenne, who spoke to them last, "Thank you, m'Lady, for your assurances. We respect those of the Tower, but do not wish to bother them with our problems." That is why, in fact, they went to the Council rather than petitioning the White Tower directly, as some might have done. "We will consider asking them for the aid of the trainees." He shoots Claire a reassuring look of his own, gently squeezing her arm to back up the look.

Meeko nods to the group "I think the majority of help, from the way it sounds, will be young strong men from town and from the outlaying farms. I do hope you will be able to remain one more night while we gather them all together to form the party to escort you back to town." such a difference, the caring Meeko and Shallenne compared to the grumbling Adri. Meeko makes mental note to look Adri up and try to discover what has got him on edge.

Swallowing once more, clearly nervous over the High Ambassador's words, Claire murmurs softly, "We thank you for whatever aid you can get for us. I am sure our village will appreciate the efforts Tar Valon has gone to come to our aid." She exchanges a few glances with her fellow travellers about staying on another day, and continues, "I do not think one more day will matter over much, if that means help will be coming with us. We thank you, for your time and efforts in this matter."

Shallenne gives a little nod of her head, listening to Meeko and then Claire's words. She doesn't know Adri as well as Meeko seems to, and from what she's heard and witnessed of him, that doesn't particularly bother her. "Perhaps we might nominate several of the volunteers to meet with you later, so that you might better appraise them of the village and prioritise the tasks," she suggests. "Then when we reach your village, we'll be able to begin without any further delay."

Claire nods her head, once again speaking for her group, "That sounds perfectly fine. Our Mayor would have probably suggested something similar, and if he had forgotten, our Wisdom." She smiles warmly at Shallenne, seeming at ease with the woman, or almost at ease as she can be with a stranger. "Again, thank you for your time and efforts. There is nothing further that we ask, and we would not want to take up any more time than necessary." With that, Claire motions for the other two to step down, in case other petitioners that day might want to address something to the council.

Meeko nods in agreement with Shallenne then turns to the villagers and smiles reassuringly at Claire "I assure you your wishes will me met as we of Tar Valon do care for those around us." Most definately is she going to give Adri a piece of her mind. "What is the best time for you all to meet? We can set it up at the Inn so you will be rested."

A stomach rumbling, Cristov answers, being the last to move away from the petitioner's stand. "How about after dinner?" For him, it would be a common suggestion anyway, stomach always wanting food.

Meeko smiles and nods in response "then after dinner it shall be." She then takes the next petition and calls the name and awaits the people to come forward. After a bit of time passes Meeko and Shallenne finish with business at hand "If there are no others in need of help I declare this meeting adjourned."

Weste smiles a little bit at the pronouncement, and stands up, dusting off her skirts. That was certainly informative, but she needs to get back to handle student affairs and Kaehn. She doesn't want that small boy out of her arms any longer than needs be.

Meeko turns to Shallenne "I am glad we could help those people." she rises and gathers her belongings "What did you think of Adris attitude? I was shocked he would behave so, that little secretary of his must not be treating him well at all."

Faleen shakes her head at Meekos comment, gathers her belongings and leaves.

Valencia leaves.

"I found his manner to be quite appauling in truth, for one that speaks on behalf of the city, it is certainly not in a tone that I care for, " Shallenne replies openly. "But things turned out well, which is all that matters." She looks to where Zedrum sits, giving him a smile as she stands up and brushes off her dress.

Meeko nods "We really must get him into a meeting with us a find out just what is bothering that man. We cannot have our faire city represented with such distain." she turns and smiles "Hello Zedrum, how are you doing?" she is very pleased to see him again and still wonders when the wedding bells will ring over the town.

Having sat quietly throughtout the entire meeting, Zedrum smiles in return to Shallenne and stands as well. "Hello Meeko," he greets, nodding politely. "I've been fine... if busy. Good work, today," he observes, never having witnessed the Council in action til today.

If Shallenne knew what Meeko were wondering, she'd likely put her straight on that matter. She extends her hand toward Zedrum, the meeting over and the need to be formal and official passed. "He is a strange man from what I've heard. The trainees never used to speak well of him, but I'd like to get to know him better before I passed personal judgement," she replies to the comment about Adri.

Meeko smiles at the lovely couple "Something seems to be troubling him, it may be that Social Secretary he picked she seems to be a very strange woman." Meekos walks over and pours a drink then takes a sip "Shallenne have you seen Kirill lately? How is the farm doing and his wife?" Meeko still has no idea what has become of the man she had so much hopes for.

The scholar takes Shallenne's hand in his, giving a gentle squeeze as he surveys the now-empty office. He looks about, a faint smile forming on his lips as he listens in on the conversation of the two women.

A little frown forms on Shallenne's brow as the subject turns to Kirill. "I saw him a little while ago. He wasn't looking too good to be honest. I was a little concerned about him.. but I thought that you'd know all about what he'd been up to. Or is he not still training you?" She sighs as she realises that /not/ listening to gossip has its disadvantages. "His farm is falling apart," she admits with a little shrug, turning her head to give Zedrum a warm smile. "So, what did you make of the meeting now you've seen one?" she asks him with a little wink.

Meeko reaches to her neck where her collar use to be "I have not seen him in months and have been unable to find him or get information." she looks to her guard "I do have someone to protect me from that miserable, evil Mez'tolth though. Shallenne, Zedrum I would like you to meet Keats my body guard." Keats just turns and nods as only the puny staffman can.

Zedrum smiles and nods to Keats as they are introduced. "That's good to hear, Meeko," he replies. "Although it would be more prudent if someone did something about that Mez'tolth." His lips tigthen slightly at the mention of the name.

Smiling to Keats, Shallenne nods her head in agreement with Zedrum's words. "I remember Keats from the other day.. at the inn," she tells her, a little frown forming once more. "I told Zed what happened. There is still no sign of Mez'tolth?" She sighs, shaking her head. "I find it hard to believe that the man is still on the loose." Her fingers wrap a little tighter about that hand she holds.

Meeko rubs her arm where the stab wound is almost healed "Morcath has assured me that he will be caught. I did want to bring that and the missing merchants up at the meeting but I felt it better to be discussed in private." she shakes her head and the fires grow in her eyes "At least Keats was able to stop that horrible Fynn. You know Shallenne, it is said that Mez is a spawn of the dark and he did attack Keats and a Sedai at the Grove the other day. It also seems that he wears a medallion that makes it impossible to channel at him." she shudders at the thought of such a man having a Ter'Angeral.

Zedrum frowns slightly. "A ter'angreal that prevents someone from being channeled on?" he asks, almost idly, thoughts already searching through his memory. From the expression on his face, it seems he has never heard of such a thing.

"Then someone ought to lure him into taking it off," Shallenne replies thoughtfully. "I'm glad to see that you are alright at least," she remarks after a moment's silence. "I was quite worried about your arm. It was a nasty wound you took." She glances thoughtfully at Zed, having seen all those dusty tomes at the Guild and knowing how much time he spends smong them, it wouldn't surprise her if he'd could lead the way to a book about it.

Meeko nods "I was shocked when the Sedai said her weave melted. That man dared to attack in the open and left word he is waiting for Morcath." she shudders "I hope someone could get him to take it off but I would not want to get close enough to even attempt it. I hope I never see that dark one again." her voice cold and bitter.

Pulled from his thoughts by Meeko's words, Zedrum's brows deepen in their frown. A melted weave? The faintest glimmers of a remembered thought echo in his mind, but he fails to catch it. "A very dangerous man," he mutters, shaking his head slightly.

"Surely there's some way to catch him though? I mean, at the moment, it seems as though he definately has the upper hand. We should turn the tables on him," Shallenne murmers thoughtfully. "Work out just what it is he's after and lay a trap.. before he can strike again without us knowing." She studies Zed a moment, curious now. "You know something? Your books?" Hardly /his/ books, but as good as in her eyes.

Meeko laughs "Shallenne the plan is good but first we would have to find him and if Morcath and his guards have had trouble doing that how could we?" she turns to Zed and hops he has some ideas.

hops=hopes

The glimmer in Zed's memory brightens momentarily, only to evade his grasp. "I'm... not sure. I'll have to look into this..." He turns to Meeko. "Shallenne is right. It's what he's after that's important."

Shallenne shakes her head slowly. "The whole point of laying a trap and baiting it with whatever it is he is after, is that you /don't/ have to find him," Shallenne replies slowly, clearly thinking carefully about the matter. "He would find you.. waiting for him. Like with a horse that refuses to be caught. You trick it into approaching a bucket of feed and then you've got it." She gives a little shrug. "But I don't really know much about such things. Its only an idle thought. I'd just like to see him caught." She too looks to Zed, giving his hand a squeeze. "Perhaps you could check the books? It might help."

Meeko considers the response and remembers something from the grove "I know he is after Morcath's blood and something else he said." she pauses momentarily and tries to get the words out without choking "I believe he is after anyone from the Tower, Sedai in particular."

Zedrum nods absently to Shallenne, lost in his thoughts again, though the gentle squeeze he gives her hand would tell her that she hasn't entirely been forgotten. And he stays lost in those thoughts, as he tries to retrieve that tiny little line read from a book among thousands.

"Then that would be the bait," Shallenne replies with a little nod. "But actually setting it up would be far more difficult. Morcath should be able to come up with something though." Her eyes turn to linger on Zedrum, an amused little smile forming on her lips as she watches him silently, not wanting to interupt those thoughts in case he comes up with something important, but sorely tempted to.

Meeko watches you both and smiles that knowing smile of hers "Maybe we should go to the Tower and speak to Morcath again, I have not told him of this recent attact but I am sure the Sedai has spread word that a Ter'angeral is loose in the city."

Zedrum pulls himself from his thoughts, blinking as his eyes re-focus on the world around him. "I am sure he already is quite aware of the power of the ter-angreal in his possession. Especially since you've said that he seeks to harm Sedai. The question is... how'd did he come about that knowledge in the first place?"

"I've given up trying to catch Morcath," Shallenne replies with a little chuckle. "I've been trying to see him about the deal I'm trying to establish for the Tower's horses, but he's never around there when I call. Perhaps if you /do/ see him, you might remind him... though I know other matters are more pressing. She listens to Zedrum's words thoughtfully, that question not having crossed her mind, but then she knows nothing about ter'angreal.

Meeko sighs "I do not have the answer to that questions Zed and I am not sure that I would care to get close enough to that evil one to ask." she grins "Zedrum!! maybe you could go to Mez'tolth's freight office and seek out the information." she is kidding of cours "I will do that Shallenne, I know he has a lot of his attention on finding Mez and on the disappearance of some of the shopkeepers under some questionable circumstances."

The scholar's eyes widen just a bit at the suggestion, although he takes it in good humor as a smile quickly forms on his lips. At least things are not overly serious that they can't share a laugh now and then. The mirth passes for him quickly enough, though, as his thoughts turn back to the ter-angreal. "I'll try to find out what I can, Meeko. But there are no guarantees. I'll have someone check up in the Tower library, Light-permitting. Perhaps there will be answers there."

Shallenne smiles and nods her head to Zedrums's suggestion, her gaze passing over to the door. "I'll come visit you soon Meeko and we can talk about this more. But I really need to grab some food now, I didn't have time before the meeting," she explains. "And I would like to speak some more with those villagers. Reassure them and see if I can convince them to take along some of the trainees." Of course the reason she wants to leave has nothing at all to do with the man at her side.

Meeko smiles and extends her hand to her friends "Yes food does sound good now. I must be returning to the shop also. I will send message if I heare anything else about the affairs we have spoke of." Meeko then gathers her things "Zedrum it was so good seeing you again and do let me know when you are ready to make Shallenne an honest woman." oops she had to get that in didn't she.

Thoughts adrift elsewhere already, they are jerked back to the present by Meeko's parting words. A little innocent smile appears on his face as he and Shallenne head out the door.
