CAST
Rohannon: (Trainee)
A rather tall boy stands before you, staring back at you with a pair of fiercely blue eyes that penetrate into your soul at times, or capture your gaze in that ocean of blue; so inviting, you fear if you linger too long in /that/ gaze you'll never again emerge. He is crowned with a head of dark hair, an almost non-descript brown, but it still stands out as if it were flaming red for some reason. He appears to be leanly muscular, and athletic; not too thin, yet not to meaty at the same time. He wears a pair of tight fitting leather breeches that hug to his athletic form, accompanied by a nice cotton shirt of a royal bluish hue. On his feet he wears some comfotable, and durable looking half-boots, with the hilt of a knife sticking out of one. There is something about this handsome young man of approximately 17 years you estimate, be it his subtle attractiveness, the twinkle in his eye, or the knowing smile on his lips... you can't say for sure, just that this boy is... friendly.
Pay no attention to this, I screwed up. He actually looks Saldaean *wink* with a moustache coming in.
Renimar: (Lieutenant of the Guard)
A youthful-looking adult bearing a noble's features, Renimar stands roughly a span (6') tall. He is, perhaps, a score and a handful of summers old and of lean build, though his years of battle training with the Warders have toughened him considerably, imparting to him a flowing stride and an air of deadly competence. He has short auburn hair, is clean-shaven and has curiously green eyes. Or is that blue? Or maybe grey? To many people's astonishment, it changes with Renimar's mood. Regardless of its hue, beneath it is a cool self-confidence and a hint of a steely will. Relatively handsome, in a rugged way, he has wooed a few hearts in his time. Generally, he emanates a feeling of genuine friendliness which often combines well with his self-confidence.
Recently given the commission of Lieutenant, Renimar wears the uniform of Tar Valon officer. Black breeches tucked into polished leather boots, with the tops turned down; a pristine white shirt with a stiff collar, open at the throat, is under a military jacket of deep scarlet and worked with gold thread. The emblem of the Flame of Tar Valon is stitched into the sides of his shoulders, and a pin denoting rank on the collar. Over his heart, he bears the pin of his House; not only a Lieutenant, but a nobleman. Belted unto his left hip, he wears a sword, and as you look closer, you see that the pommel is worked with a pattern of roses and stars.
Lorelei: (Novice)
Lorelei looks like a typical Ebou Dari in appearance. She has dark brown hair that falls down to just below her shoulders in rather limp waves. Her dark brown eyes peer out of an unextraordinary face. Her skin has an olive tone to it and her body is pretty plain, nothing that would make men turn and stare. Her voice however, deserves notice. When she speaks, there is something...musical in her voice that draws attention to her. She wears the simple dress of a novice. The plain white dress falls down to her feet, which are covered by equally plain and white footwear.
SETTING: Courtyard: White Tower, Tar Valon
Rohannon chuckles at Lorelei as he stands talking with her. "It's good to see you." he says, glancing up as yet another body enters the courtyard; he gives Renimar a smile and a nod.
Renimar inclines his head, more out of accustomed reaction to the various Aes Sedai and officals that occupy the Tower. To Rohannon, an absent nod, as a result.
Lorelei smiles back at Rohan and turns to see who just exited the Tower. Seeing that it's not anyone she has to curtsey to she turns back to Rohan. "And how are you doing?"
Rohannon grins and spins around, then settling into one spot. "Better... much better, I feel so good lately!" he says.
Lorelei says "That's good to hear.""
Rohannon settles down onto a the bench and smiles, patting the spot next to him. "So tell me... what's been happening with you lately?" he asks.
Lorelei glances over at the walks that she should probably be sweeping again. The glance is very quick and almost unnoticable before she smiles and takes a seat on the bench. "I have been studying and doing chores." hmph "It seems tthat's all there is to novice life." grin
Rohannon chuckles, "Poor things, Novices..." he says, glancing sidelong at Lorelei, a grin flirting with his lips. "I don't know if I could handle Novice life." he says with a wink. "Although I /would/ look rather nice in a dress, don't you think?" he asks; what a lovely mood!
Approaching the officer, a Guardsman comes up and salutes a greeting, which is returned. In a low, murmured conference, they speak. After some five minutes, or so, the Guardsman nods, snaps a salute and strides off, with a fiercely proud smile and a confident strut, as Renimar watches him go with a wry look.
Lorelei looks at Rohan and seems to measure him with her eyes. With a mischieous look in her eyes she says, "Hmm, you may be right. Mayhap I should mention it to... one of the Gaidin would it be?"
Rohannon chuckles, "Yes... talk to Kelsyn, he'll understand"
Lorelei arches an eyebrow, probably not expecting that answer. "Kelsyn." she says quietly, remembering the name. "I shall have to tell of your...request." (drat, can't think of the word I want to use there.)
Rohannon chuckles, eyes going a bit wide. "No! Don't do that..."
Lorelei grins "Are you sure. I thought you said you would look good in a dress. Don't you want to find out if that is true?" She is supressing laughter now as she watches you for a reaction.
Rohannon squirms, "Well... I don't know..." he then turns a roguish girn your way, "Find me a dress my size... I mean right now, and I'll model it for you." he says, now watching /you/ for the reaction. "Seriously..." he breaths, "I'll do it."
Lorelei looks at Rohan and sizes him up, figuring out how large a dress would be needed.
Rohannon is trying not to burst out laughing, "Hurry up before I lose the nerve." he says with a wink. "You know, for a price... I might be willing to run across the courtyard in it as well." he says, eyes glittering.
Rohannon seems to be having second thoughts
Lorelei walks up the steps and goes through the main doors of the Tower. Lorelei has left.
Rohannon looks almost frantic to find a way out of this now for some reason but he holds his ground, determined to tough it out. He said he would, after all.
Lorelei walks down the steps into the Courtyard, after pushing through the main doors of the Tower. Lorelei has arrived.
Rohannon sits on his hands, feet tapping on the ground rapidly; nervous? Maybe he want s to back out. He looks up as a body emerges from the Tower...
Lorelei comes back down the stairs leading a few other novices who had happened to be free. She carries a dress in her hands that looks like it should fit Rohan. As the group nears, 'lei says, "This should work. It might be a bit short but..." She gestures to the other novices, "I hope youdon't mind that I brought some others. They wanted to see the modeling." She grins.
Rohannon's eyes widen and he blushes slightly, "Oh my..." is all he can manage, eyes sweeping across his new audience. He lowers his voice, looking around nervously,"We ummm... if we're going to do this... we can't do it here!" he finishes, voice dropping so it doesn't carry beyond the group.
Rohannon eyes the white bundle in Lorelei's hands and swallows hard.
Lorelei proffers the dress to Rohan. "Well, you could change in there." She gestures to the stable, grinning more widely now. A few of the other novices can be heard snickering.
Rohannon's eyes widen again, "No!" he says, squirming. "We can't do this here... how about over there." he says, pointing at a convenient old shed in the woods. ;)
Lorelei shakes her head. "But why go all that way. Besides, you just have to change there. You can come out after you have the dress on." She smiles and has no intention of watching Rohan change.
Rohannon's eyes go wide again, "Nonononono! I don't want everybody seeing me... they have to come in." he says, waving an arm at the group. "The hay loft in the stable... I'll do it in there, but I'm not comign out!" he says
Lorelei turns back to the novices and a short discussion occurs. Lei turns back to face Rohan. "Ok. you can put on the dress in there. And we won't make you come out." She gives a mock sigh, as if half of the fun was taken out of the whole thing
Rohannon makes a face, "Oh come on! you have no idea how hard this is..." he says, obviously meanign that for a reply to your loss of spirits. He divides a grin between everyone, "Anybody who peeks gets a spanking." he says, and with that, disappears into the stables. (follow me!)
Rohannon pushes the sliding door and enters the Stable. Rohannon has left.
Lorelei pushes the sliding door and enters the Stable. Lorelei has left.
[Tower Stable: White Tower, Tar Valon]
Lorelei leads the gaggle of novices in and they stand in a small group waiting for the trainee to don his dress. A few of them glance at Renimar as he follows them in.
Rohannon is climbing up the ladder to the hayloft, the dress slung over his shoulder. He waves a hand for the group to come up after him. As soon as he disappears over the edge there is a slight shuffling and then the sounds of clothes being removed. He doesn't notice the man that has joined in, and probably better that he doesn't.... that would spoil the fun for /everybody/.
Renimar, not quite as distracted as he was, noted the small gathering of white-dressed Novices, and the Trainee. With only the barest hint of a smile as he recalls his own Trainee days, Renimar follows in behind the groups, staying well behind, just observing.
Lorelei sniffs as Rohan invites them up.
Lorelei waits til the noises of movement die down and she sends some of the novices up frist before leading the rest up.
Rohannon leans over the edge, a head and bare chest. "Are you comign or what?" he asks, and then pops his head back as he looks down at the ascending Novices.
The novices crowd up onto the hayloft, some of them snickering as they catch a glimpse of what is up there.
Lei giggles at what she sees when she gets up there and looks at Rohan, weighing him in his new attire.
Rohannon pulls the dress on just in time as the first Novice head pops up... perhaps. HE stands there, filling the thing out nicely with his rather nice body. He has an embarassed grin on his face, but wicked at the same time.
Lorelei matches wicked grin with wicked grin. "You're right, it does look good on you. Maybe I should talk to, Kelsyn was it, about you wearing it so others can apreciate how you look in it."
Hearing the giggling, Renimar judges that the odd Trainee has actually donned the garment. As silently as his decade of training has taught him, he strides forth and, quite uninvited, hauls himself up the latter with an easy adroitness, and sticks his head above the hay.
Rohannon shakes his head violently, cheeks coloring. "No!" he exclaims, squirming about in the dress; managing to do little more than give a few Novice imaginations something to chew on for awhile. His eyes fall on the head that just pops up then, and they go extremely wide, almost mortified.
Lorelei glances back at what has made the trainee's eyes go so wide. Seeing Renimar she laughs and figures Rohan got more than he bargained for.
Rohannon jumps behind the nearest Novices and immediately pulls the dress over his head, then reaching about blindly for his clothes. Poor guy! He tries his best to cover himself with the dress but...
With only a dry bemused smile quirking the ends of his lips and a casually arched brow, Renimar eyes the Trainee in his dress, as he scrambles around in it. "You know," he comments mildly to Rohannon, "I think you need to fill out a bit more." Still half on the ladder, he motions at his chest, cupping at imaginary breasts."
The novice that Rohan jumped behind giggles at his behavior, maybe even a little delighted at being close to a trainee. Maybe Rohan just made a friend.
Lorelei is still glancing at Renimar as he makes his comment. It sends her into a fit of giggling and she tries despearately to regain her composure.
Rohannon can't help but laugh at what he hears and can't help but smile at the Novice before he remembers he is supposed to be putting his clothes on.
Still hanging on to the edge of the loft, Renimar says, "Though, at least you didn't have to wear it for a day out there." He gestures back to the Courtyard. "There was a Trainee who had to. I'm not sure if it was before your time or not." He referes to all there, Novices and Trainee.
Rohannon peeks around the Novice to regard the man, still without proper clothing. "You're kidding... oh my..." he says, consiering that and realizing that ofcourse, now that he knows, that's what his next punishment will be.
Lorelei hasn't heard about it and decides to comment, her fit of giggling mostly under control, "So you trainees do this all the time then? Very interesting"
Renimar shrugs slightly, still with the small smile. "Not really, but it was deemed suitable punishment. I may have been for his pride, I'm not sure, to be perfectly honest."
Lorelei smiles back and says to the novices, "Come on, we should let the trainee change in piece." and without the benefit of protective cover. With that the novices start filing for the ladder, which is still occupied by Renimar. "If you'll excuse me sir.." she says, a smile on her face as she glances back.
Renimar eyes the Novices moving to head back down, and with a nods of his head. Renimar virtually skips down, hopping off with six feet left still to go, but landing with an easy crouch. Calling up to Rohannon, "Thank you for the entertainment, sir. You just made a rather boring return to the office an amusing one."
Rohannon calls out jokingly, "You're sick!"
Lorelei leads the novices back down to the ground. The last one however has a fun idea. She reaches out and snatches Rohan's pants before sliding down the ladder and running out the stabble with them. The rest of the noices see this and scatter out the door too.
Lorelei pushes the sliding door and leavess the Stable.
Renimar cannot help but laugh out loud at Lorelei's last move, and Rohannon's comment. "I wasn't the one in the dress, nor the one without any pants." he notes back to the loft.
Rohannon is suddenly sliding down the ladder, wearing a long shirt, an socks, but no pants. Boots in hand and novice dress held at the ready he dashes for that door calling, "Hey!" while laughing at the same time
