Entrance Hall: White Tower, Tar Valon
Large hallways, with high arched entrances, assault your eyes as you walk into the entrance hall of the White Tower. All around, you can see large columns rising into the high flat-domed ceiling. A pale stone floor seems to shine up at you, worn down from centuries of nervous scuffling feet and ardent cleaning.
Cold air seems to burst into the room anytime someone enters from the courtyard. The room is brightly lit by several ensconced candles. A servant or two might be seen traveling the corridor to make sure all is well in the night.
A pair of massive doors, decorated with delicate carvings of intricate workmanship, lead outside and down a massive set of stairs, into the courtyard of the Tower grounds. A large marble archway rises high into the hall, leads to a carpeted ramp spiraling toward the higher levels of the Tower. Another stone archway, not so high as the one over the ramp, leads to the common wing of the Tower.

Sionil comes down the ramp.

Genifyr nearly trips, curtsies, and says "Sionil Sedai, may I speak to you about a punishment for me?"

Sionil pauses a moment "A punishment? Now why would you require a punishment."

Genifyr says, "For embracing the True Source, though I want to tell you more than that."

Sionil gives a nod "Go on, child."

Genifyr says "A Warder told Weste and I to take a Trainee hopeful to the kitchens. His name was Vortian. While in the kitchens, he asked me, in so many words, to do the Sa'sara. I slapped him, and do not regret it. However when he asked me to get in a Taraboner dress, I poured hot tea on his lap. This I regret, especially since he looks only about 13 or 14 namedays.

Sionil nods a little "I see. Well do you know how you embraced, I had thought you were blocked from the source?"

Genifyr says, "That didn't happen yet. He got up, danced around, and removed his pants. A red sister-Rayche Sedai I believe, saw him." She shivers and says quietly "I can believe the rumors now." In a normal tone she says "He ended up getting in very big trouble and she ordered him to buy a Taraboner dress and to make sure it fit. I feel pretty guilty for starting that. Rayche Sedai had me take his pants to the Laundry Room and wash them. It was there I touched Saidar for about 2 seconds. An Accepted saw me, asked my name, and told me I had better tell you what I did before she did."

Sionil shakes her head "Well then..." she pauses and considers a moment

Genifyr says "I did not mean to touch Saidar, I pictured the flower so I could calm down, but the light touched me. In addition to the punishment for touching Saidar, I would like to ask for a punishment for the tea incident.

Sionil nods a little "Well since you like tea, and filling yourself with Saidar when you shouldn't, you may spend the next two weeks (OOCly 1 week) in the kitchens filling tea cups. You will be sure that anyone who has tea always has a full cup of it."

Genifyr nods. "Yes Sionil Sedai. During what times in the day?"

Sionil responds "When you are not in class"

Genifyr says "Yes Sionil Sedai." She curtsies. "If I may ask, would I be able to have an Accepted help me with my block?"

Sionil considers her "I suppose. Have you discovered what the actual block is yet?"

Genifyr says "No Sionil Sedai. But a few conditions existed in both occurrences. Namely Shock, Fear, and Embarrassment, if in differing amounts. I was also in contact with water both times, and thinking of a male." She adds the last sentence as an afterthought.

Sionil bobs her head once murmuring 'I see.' then asks "Were both of these times here at the tower? Have you ever channeled prior to your coming here?"

Genifyr says "The first time was in Aringill and the 2nd was in the Laundry Room.

Genifyr says "As I have told Mydria and Dal Sedai, I fell off the side of a boat, fell in the freezing water, and nearly drowned, except a tree snapped and blocked my descent downriver long enough for me to be rescued.

Genifyr says, "I was a bit shaken and shocked by Rayche Sedai-" She shivers. "-And feeling guilty about what I did to Vortian. Physically, I was scrubbing his pants in the tub."

Sionil nods a little more "So the first time you were in a river, and the second was washing some clothes..."

Genifyr nods. "Yes, but I think the shock idea is much more likely. Wouldn't an emotional state be a more likely thing for a block?

Sionil shrugs "Anything is possible concerning a block. Some wilders cannot channel except when they are angry, others cannot unless something is there, like a boy."

Genifyr hmmms. "I'll have to look into it then." But her tone says she's pretty convinced it was shock.

Sionil shakes her head in amusement "Very well. I will have a few accepted start working with you on the block."

Genifyr nods. "Thank you Sionil Sedai." She curtsies and heads up to her room.
