Summary: Angharad's temper gets her a talking to, and a demonstration.

Angharad suddenly realizes that the doors to the Tower opened and closed. Without bothering to look, Angharad closes her book, stands, curtsies, then sits back down again. Then the book is opened once more as Angharad comments to Kradan. "You're a lummox. You didn't have to sit here."

Kradan shrugs as he stands up and bows with out ever taking his nose out his book. "Maybe. But I'm not moving." He retorts.

Angharad slowly turns the page in her book, still frowning. "I'm not moving either. I don't know why you're being such a woolheaded idiot, Kradan." Then Angharad's voice is all sugar and honey, "Do me a favor, don't talk."

Alisa turns to look at what is causing all the commotion then begins to walk over to the arguing couple.

Kradan pauses and blinks at Angharad, quickly returning to his book as he answers, "Maybe your being a woolhead idiot too..."

Angharad sighs. "Can't even do a simple favor, can you?" Angharad absently reaches up to tug at her braid, trying desperately to keep a hold of her temper. "It's well known in the Two Rivers, that men are the one who are woolheaded." Angharad circumspectly doesn't mention the fact that women are said to be more stubborn than rocks.

Alisa stops before the couple then quips "If you argue any louder one might get the impression you are married. Which i know is not the case."

Kradan glances up, a slight grin on his face, "Two Riv---." Stopping suddenly and gets a straggled look on his face, burying it back in his book. Yeo, Kradan just has terrible luck.

Angharad yanks on her braid as hard as she can. First it was Rhynne teasing her about Darial. Now this bloody Aes Sedai teasing her about Kradan?! *YANK!* *YANK!* She was even nearly keeping her temper! *YANK!* *YANK!* *YANK!* Working her jaw angrily, Angharad finally says, in a tone barely holding back on the anger, "We are most assuredly not, Aes Sedai. I believe it is a requirement in the Trainee program to see how long each trainee can stand up against me. It makes them stronger, so I put up with it."

Alisa says calmly "well they being woolheads aside have you forgotten your lesson on tower ettiquette. What are you to do when an Aes Sedai enters the area child? As to the woolheaded men if they act like little boys treat them like one." With that reaches out attempting to grab Kradan's ear and give it a twist.

Kradan grunts, turning a page, "Yank harder and its going to fall out." He comments, stifling a wince as his eye gets a twist. Biting back one of his better comments.

Angharad turns around and blinks at Alisa. "I curtsied, Aes Sedai. I did!" Light, not again! After what happened the last time she got in trouble with an Aes Sedai, who knows what will happen with this one. Then she arches an eyebrow at Kradan's poor ear. Not even Angharad would do that... yet. "Be quiet for once in your life, you woolheaded lummox!" she retorts to Kradan.

"After you." Kradan answers as emotion washes from his face.

Alisa says calmly letting go the ear "worry not about this boy he is not worth any bother. How ever if his attitude continues he will be dealt with. Do walk with me child we have some things to discuss."

Angharad sniffs at Kradan. "Light, you have to go run and hide in the Void for that?" Then she looks at Alisa and nods, paling just a bit. "Yes, of course, Aes Sedai." Closing her book, Angharad stands and pulls her cloak around her. Follow the Aes Sedai? Thank the Light it's not some sort of game!

Kradan grunts with a shrug. He doesn't care. At least he doesn't have to listne to her anymore. Turning a page.

Alisa says quietly as she walks away once Angharad catches up "I have noticed a certain tendancy in you and it relates to controlling your temper or lack there of."

Kradan sits on a bench. Reading a book. Face emotions.

Angharad frowns at the Aes Sedai as she follows. "I'm well aware of my lack of control over my temper, Aes Sedai. I -am- working on it."

Alisa nods saying in her normal cool calm woice "yes i know other sisters are helping you with that. It has much more to do than just simple ettiquette. It is causing you to forget the basic elements of your learning. If this is to continue you would not be the first to pass the test yet never reach the shawl. If you wish help i can often be found in the infirmary. I trust we are not going to have a repeat of this conversation correct?"

Angharad is nearly as pale as her cloak. Angharad bobs her head up and down. "I understand, Aes Sedai. No, we will not have this conversation again, Aes Sedai." Angharad actually sounds ... meek!

Alisa adds as a balm "In fact come see me after supper tonight we will begin your first lesson in controling your anger. Besides if you focus it can become a ally rather than an enemy"

Angharad shoots a glance at Alisa, then curtsies. "As you say, Aes Sedai."

Alisa says with a little warmth returning to her voice "Come let us return to the boy who is playing at being a man."

Kradan hrms softly, turning page slowly and sighs. Snapping it shut and leans forward on his knees. After he pockets the book, of course. Oh and he doesn't hold the void anymore.

Angharad arches an eyebrow at Alisa and nods, quietly following the Yellow. Light, what is this woman planning?

Alisa walks back towards the original gathering place saying in a normal volume "So how are your studies progressing making the adjustments well?"

Kradan stands up and bows. Answering, "Yes Aes Sedai."

Angharad opens her mouth to answer the Aes Sedai then closes it. Kradan answered, maybe the comment was meant for him.

Alisa says calmly "well i was not actually talking to you boy but i suppose it is good that you are not totally lacking mental faculties. That you at least pretended to read shows a modicum of ambition and initiative. If you have strong teeth and a muscled body i am sure there i a green who wants another plaything."

Angharad looks at Alisa, and remembers Tsuiko's comment from the other day. "Or even a brown. No need to just -CARRY- the books she gives you."

Kradan shrugs and stays standing. Hands clasped loosely at the small of his back. Waiting quietly.

Alisa looks over to Angharad "well my word the strong silent type oh dear i know several greens who want gaidin with out the bother of actually having to talk to them i should mention this one to them. Yes he stands straight and looks sturdy enough to handle thier more exotic endeavours. Don't you think?"

Angharad's eyes grow wide at Alisa's last comment. "Frankly, Aes Sedai, I don't want to think about that."

A wry twist in Kradan's lips. Giving a hint of a smirk.

Alisa says calmly "Well that is not surprising there apettites are sometime rather execessive sometimes i tire of putting thier gaidin back together after they are finished. " Then turning to look at the Kradan "Oh are you still here? Well no matter Perhaps you can be of some use after all. Accepted if you are attacked what are the 3 areas which will easily disable a man?"

Angharad looks at Alisa, then looks back to Kradan. "The neck, more effectively a strong strike to the voval cords. THe stomach, to knock the wind out of them. Then the groin. I've seen grown men cry when hit there."

Kradan arcs an eyebrow as every muscle in his body grows taunt.

Alisa corrects the Accepted "Partially correct . The groin should be the first target always even if he is voided it tends to disrupt everything the pain is rather intense i am told. Second Head if they are not conscious they can not hurt you. Third Knee if they can not walk they are less able to hurt you. Repeat after me. Groin Head Knee."

Angharad shifts her jaw slightly, but nods. "Groin, Head, Knee."

Alisa adds "You have learned to form blunt shapes out of air correct? Then using a club of air on any of those bones will have bad consequences on your opponent."

Angharad eyes Alisa, then eyes Kradan, then back to the Aes Sedai. Angharad doesn't like trainees, that for certain, but she's a bit squeamish about beating up on men for no reason. "Yes... let alone the pain of breaking the bones."

Alisa mentions "How ever these are not all that effective on myrdraals for them i susgest a little someting i have make specifically for them. It will also be covered tonight in our lesson."

Every muscle hardens, gaze glazes over to a pale shade of ice. Live along the Blight, you get your far share of fades. Kradan's hand slides down to sword at his waist and lightly touches the hilt.

Darial enters the Courtyard through an opening in the large wall surrounding the Practice Yard.

Darial comes out of the barracks at a quick trot, skidding to a stop near Angharad. "You dropped this yesterday. I found it on the ground." He puts something in her hand, then trots off.

Darial passes through the Alindrelle Gates under the watchful eyes of the Tower Guards.

Angharad bobs her head to the Aes Sedai. "Yes, of course, Aes Sedai..." Angharad blinks, stares at Darial. Turning bright red, Angharad reaches up to tug on her braid. "Why you inconsiderate ... horses arse!" she comments after Darial's form.

Alisa leans over to whisper at Angharad "You seem to have a lot of feelings for him don't you."

Angharad pales and yelps as if bitten by a Draghkar! She stares at the Aes Sedai in complete bewilderment. "I bloody well do not!" Then Angharad covers her mouth, a white ribbon poking out of her hand as she does so.

Kradan relaxes just slightly as he can't quite the feeling of something bad is about to happen. Glancing to the white ribbon briefly and arc an eyebrow at Angharad.

Darial enters the Tower Courtyard through the Alindrelle Gates.

Darial trots back in, a bit winded and sweaty.

Angharad is pale and staring at Alisa Sedai, her hands to her mouth, the white ribbon hanging from one of them. Angharad looks like she did something -very- bad just now.

Kradan stands nearby unfortunatly. Body tense as he listens and an arced eyebrow at Angharad in question.

Darial looks around the courtyard, gaze going to that white ribbon. A brow lifts and he tries to watch without being obvious about it.

Alisa looks at the Man in question "Well it seems here is the head troublemaker. Come over here Darial "

Darial looks toward the practice yard. He bows, hastily. "Yes, Aes Sedai? I need to be returning to my lesson soon. I mean, when you're ready to release me."

Angharad blinks a few times. What? No scolding? Not yet? Angharad doesn't even look at Darial, she's too terrified what Alisa will to do her to worry about that fool man.

Kradan takes this time to slide away. Maybe the Aes Sedai doesn't want to talk with or nothing. Yeah thats it. Quietly making his way towards another bench.

Alisa says calmly "yes yes you can return to your play soon enough. If you will just stand still for a moment while i need you as a test subject." Ruffling around her satchel "where did i put that apple." "Oh yes. Here is it." She pulls out an apple that looks less than fresh but not exactly rotten either. "Now this will take a little bit of imagination. " Holding it up to Darial's eye level "No imagine darial is a trolloc. Not a hard leap i know and this apple is one of his eyes."

Kradan is currently making his way from Alisa and the others. Finding himself a new bench.

Darial eyes the apple, looking rather like a skittish horse at this point. But he doesn't move. That might be worse.

Angharad blinks at the Aes Sedai and lowers her hands, stuffing the ribbon into a pouch. "You want me to hit it, Aes Sedai," she asks a bit warily.

Alisa continues "now as you have been instructed trollocs are quite capable if rather unruly opponents. So why not attack them at thier weakest point. Watch Carefully this does require a bit of skill and a great deal of calm" Surrendering to Saidar its warm embrace filling her the way no man ever will, she forms 2 flows of water attaching them both to opposite ends of the apple and begins to draw all the water from it. Her skill with water allowing her to quite quickly reduce the apple to a dry waterless husk.

Kradan finally finds a bench, far enough away from the Alisa and the others for him to feel safe. Relaxing his muscles and sits down on the bench. Unpocketing a rather old book and starts to read it.

Angharad looks between the apple and Alisa, then frowns. "I'm not about to do this to Darial's eye, Aes Sedai. He is no trolloc, though he acts like one."

Darial is trying hard not to flinch or move. "Thank the Light for that much," he mutters.

Angharad glares back at Darial. "Though I might be convinced otherwise if I've no choice," she retorts back to the trainee.

Alisa says calmly "well i suppose if he was not so clean saven he could be easily mistaken. None the less have you learned the lesson i taught?"

Angharad nearly jumps as Alisa talks. Turning back to look at the Aes Sedai, Angharad bobs her head quickly, up and down. "Yes. Yes, Aes Sedai."

Alisa looks at thge accepted "Good i do so hate having to repeat myself. Thank you Darial for your assistance I will make a not to inform your instructors of you eagerness to help today."

Darial looks at the apple and backs away, swallowing. "You're welcome, Aes Sedai."

Kradan is busying himself with his book.

Alisa says in her cool aes sedai tone "Well the lesson is finished child you make continue with your daily routine. You are free to return to your training Darial"

Reese looks around the yard, bowing politely to the Accepted and Sedai as he nears them. He does not seem to have anywhere to go or anyone to see.

Angharad curtsies to the Aes Sedai as she nods, obviously not looking at either Alisa Sedai, nor at Darial.

Darial spots the other trainee and makes his way in that direction.

Alisa smooths out her dress then mutters to herself "Oh yes i believe my corpses should arrive today." Turning back towards the doors she entered she makes her way back into the tower

Alisa walks up the steps and goes through the main doors of the Tower.

Angharad stares after the Aes Sedai. Did she say corpses?

Darial nods to Reese. "Please tell me I shouldn't be bowing to you. I'm Darial."

Reese shakes his head and extends a hand. "I don't think you have to. I'm just a trainee, an Inductee, even. My name's Reese, it's nice to meet you."

Darial shakes the hand with a well-calloused one. "Good. Me too. I was starting to think everyone here outranked me."

Angharad clears her throat of a sudden, her features smooth and she looks more like Angharad, than she did before. Smoothing the front of her own dress unconsciously, Angharad then reaches up to give a good tug on her braid. Starting forward, Angharad stops as if forgetting something. Indeed, she has, turning, Angharad glares at everyone in the courtyard, especially Darial, before walking back into the Tower.

Kradan dares to peek up from his book and sighs. Closing the book and pockets it, leaning on his knees. Watching the coutyard.

Reese gives a quick double-take at Angharad's glare and then says to Darial, "No, I don't at least. She does though, and that makes me a little nervous." He motions subtly to Angharad.

Darial glances at Angharad's disappearing back. "She scares you? Why?" He shakes his head. "Just like my sister."
