| Summary: | Meeko gets introduced to a drugged chocolate candy substance and tries to seduce her guard Keats. |
Rainbow Apothecary: Treesinger Avenue, Tar Valon
You see a modest room with shelves everywhere. Upon the shelves are many bottles and jars filled with various strange sounding herbs and tonics. Many books fill one area. On one wall there is a small window and the door leading to the street. On the side wall another window that looks out to give the shop an airy feel.
There is also a counter for service and a round table with chairs for chatting. A small stove sits in a corner to help heat the room and provide hot water for the work done here or for tea. A few cots line one wall for patients to rest. You see a long blue curtain that hides the stairs leading up to the Sages living quarters.
Present: Keats, Meeko
Meeko is finishing up the paperwork for the nite, she looks up at the two guards outside the door and the other inside by it and shakes her head. "Keats please take me for a walk." Some walk more like a crowd roaming the streets now that she has these new guard protecting her since the demise of Misty.
Keats looks up from where he is studying the floor and hmms? "Oh, sure. Where would you like to go, Meeko?" The guards look on passively, most likely bored at such menial duty.
Meeko rises from the table and grabs her cloak from the wall. She hesitates before putting it on as it was the home of her friend and confidant who is now gone. She places the cloak about her shoulders and comments softly "I don't know Keats just anywhere, for a walk or something to get my mind off Misty." she looks to you and smiles "I will let you decide tonite."
Keats shrugs and grabs his own cloak, slipping it on before grabbing his staff and offering a hand to Meeko. "Let us just wander then and see where the night takes us." He even goes so far as to open the door for the poor, saddened Ambassador.
Meeko nods and takes your hand as she goes through the door, she shudders at the thought of the group that will be following them. Oh well better safe than sorry and it will reinforce how important she is in this town. Once outside Meeko waits for you to decide which direction, she avoids looking at the Grove, a place Misty loved to go play.
Keats leaves the Apothecary and goes out into the street
You leave the shop.
Treesingers Avenue: Tar Valon, Tar Valon
Inns, shops, and merchant houses line the street, each decorated with ornately carved friezes, statues placed in niches or cupolas and intricately worked cornices. The street here is made of cobblestone, showing a difference from this area from the main city, where the streets are paved smooth showing that perhaps this area was not made completely by the Ogier.
New leaves can be seen forming on trees and plants and bushes seem to be blooming. Birds can heard chirping and there seems to be a newness of everything with the coming of spring. A patrol of Tar Valon Guards passes by, the leader watching one of the Lamplighters working on getting the streets well lit. A few people can be seen doing some last minute shopping before retiring.
From the road you see one of the famous groves that were made by the Ogier. It is one of the few known left in existence, placed there by the Ogier when they build the city. Tall trees spire out from the fence surrounding the grove. Northeast one of the tall lacework bridges leads to Osenrien Village, watched by a pair of Tar Valon Guards, busily checking passes of those entering and leaving the city. To the west is a road that leads towards Daghain while southwest lies Osendrelle Square and the looming spires of the White Tower.
Keats, Meeko
Dylin wanders in from the southwest, coming from Osendrelle Square.
Dylin is following a much taller Accepted, apparently carrying things for her. She hastily curtseys to the Aes Sedai /and/ her guard, then trails the Accepted into a shop.
Dylin makes her way into Teresi imports.
Keats turns towards Osendrelle Square, leading Meeko by the arm, which is interlocked with his now. The guards fall into step behind them, being ready in case the Mouse killer (would that be a cat?) comes after Meeko this time.
Feeling comforted by her guards show of kindness, Meeko looks at the shop windows. She wonders from one to the next until the import shop catches her eye "Oh Keats can we go in there please I would love to look around." she looks up to you and smiles "I have not taken time like this in a long while." a comment almost passing in the wind.
Keats shrugs, "If you wish, Meeko." Turning towards the import Shop he leads Meeko past the guards who had stopped to find out where it was exactly the couple were going. Again Keats is nice and opens to door for Meeko.
You step through the door and enter the shop.
Teresi Imports Shop: Tar Valon, Tar Valon
This shop is fairly large at least forty feet wide and sixty feet deep. What space lies within is filled with exotic goods from the west and places all over the world. The walls are covered in fancy floral paper of powder blue and rose red with jade green vines. The floor and ceiling are hardwood possibly oak and kept polished to a fine finish. At the front of the shop is a wide glass paned window which both lets light in during the day and allows people outside to peek in. A counter rest on the right manned during business hours by a staff member. During both day and night lanterns along the walls and a few hanging from the ceiling keep the rooms well lit. On the ceiling there are several vents to allow any smoke to flow outside.
At all times the shops is kept crammed full with several rows of shelves holding spices, clothing, herbs, jewelry, and such items. A few tapestries and carpets are rolled up in the back also on sale. The shop offer much selection and specializes in things not found locally around Tar Valon. In the back of the shop a wooden door leads to another room but this door is kept closed at all times. A small sign on the door reads: Employees Only.
Dylin, Reese, Chandria
Out in the street, Keats makes his way into Teresi imports.
Keats walks through to door into Teresi imports.
Chandria blinks at Reese. Then she shakes her head and lets out a soft laugh. Clearing her throat, she leaves the Novice and the Trainee to talk as she walks to the Accepted. "And how can I help you today, Accepted," she asks kindly, even as the bell above the door rings again, admitting Keats and Meeko. Chandria's brown eyes look towards the door and she arches an eyebrow. "OH my, I should have taken today off instead. Shina said there was no one yesturday."
As the door is opened by her main guard, Meeko the Acting High Ambassador enters pausing immediately to look at some of the exotic goods. She then looks around "oh Keats these are some wonderful items." she points to this and that before she realizes the number of people in the shop, she nods cordially trying to cover the emptiness she is feeling for the loss of her friend.
Dylin's mouth drops partway and she stares at Reese. At least, until she takes a step backwards, mouth snapping shut. "I.. you... we... you saw me last night, Reese!" She does eye the chocolate in his hand, though. "Mint? Really?" Maybe that's all that keeps her from noticing Reese's more lascivious glances.
Reese offers the chocolate to the pretty Novice and says, "Mint. It's very good, very rich and... sweet." There's a hint of something in his voice, something very unlike the young man is usually. His eyes are roaming over Dylin and he smiles wickedly when he takes in the sight of Meeko. He returns his attention to Dylin quickly, though.
Keats releases Meeko once they are within the shop. Or rather he lets go rather than be dragged around to see this item or that thing. Glancing towards a guard that followed them in he follows behind Meeko and looks around the store, nodding politely (though without a smile) to those already in the shop. His metal tipped staff thumps in time with his footfalls.
Dylin takes another step backwards, bumping a table, which forces her to hold her ground. "I like chocolate. And mint." She doesn't sound too sure about taking anything from Reese in his current state, though. "I'm supposed to be helping that Accepted," she nods to the taller woman who is ignoring chocolate and trainee alike.
Chandria smiles at the Accepted, nodding, and showing her some little knick knacks. After a moment, Chandria makes her appologies, then walks over to Meeko. "Forgive me, I was busy with another customer." The domani lass flashes a bright smile, then motions about the shop. "How can I help you?"
Reese eyes the Accepted for a moment, his eyes lingering too long on certain body parts for any sort of propriety before back to Dylin and her body parts. "She looks alright to me, Dylin... you can have the chocolate, I've already pawed - paid for it. Please? Try just one for me? I think you'll like it," the trainee seems to be putting the wrong words into sentences now.
Meeko sets the item down that she is looking at and turns as she hears her name "Oh I was just looking around." she smiles back as her eyes catch the Novice. Meeko returns her attention to the Shopkeeper trying hard to ignor the fool guards at the door "My guard Keats and I wanted to get away, with the recent death of my friend I just needed to get away and have been meaning to come in her." she picks up another trinket "You do have some of the most wonderful items here."
Dylin can't back up any further and the chocolate is right /there/. She can almost smell it. Her eyes flicker between the chocolate and the oddly behaving trainee. "Just one? Are you sure there's nothing wrong with it? I mean, you're not acting normal."
Chandria flicks a glance towards Reese, shaking her head with a bemused smile, before turning back to Meeko. "Well, you will have to tell my Aunt Shina, not myself. This is her store, I just work here." For a moment, there is a dark flash in Chandria's eyes as they stray towards the back room, and a slight downtwisting to her lips, before the smile returns as bright as ever. "My condolences on the loss of your friend. I"m afraid that mere ... things never make up for the loss of a soul. But, if there is anything you need, we either have it, or can get it."
Keats stands there leaning on his staff and watches Chandria and the goings on behind her with the trainee and novice and accepted. Tower folk. He stays quiet and lets Meeko talk since she seems to like doing that.
Reese offers the chocolate closer to the Novice - if one didn't know better, one might think he was reaching for... nahhh. not Reese. "I'm fine, better than usual. Can't you tell? I can even look at you," and he does, being very obvious as his eyes roam all the way to Dylin's feet and back, a wicked little smile playing over his lips, "and believe me, it is a pleasure to do."
Meeko nods to Chandria "Thank you, Misty was my confidant and best friend she has been with me for many years." Meeko shakes her head "I just do not understand why anyone would assassinate a mouse." she glances at the Novice and Trainee and grins then returns her attentions to Chandria "So your Aunt is not here? What a shame I wanted to meet her." Oh yes Meeko must do all the token niceties of her office.
A slow flush spreads up the Andoran Novice's cheeks and the table behind her gets jostled as she tries for just a little more space away from Reese. "I... think I like the other you," she says a bit uneasily. Dylin takes the chocolate, if only to get him to stop pressing it on her.
Chandria nods to Meeko. "Well, Shina is out, I don't know where she is. Had some personal deliveries," Chandria says in a very ... dry tone. Next the girl does a double take at Dylin and Reese, shaking her head. "You'll excuse me for a moment," she comments, never looking back at Meeko. Instead, she sways over to the trainee and Novice, giving Dylin a smile, before turning one on Reese as she reaches out to lay a hand on his shoulder. "Reese, dear. You are indeed not acting yourself. You're being a bit too forceful. Perhaps you should apologize to the Novice, and offer to make her tea to make up for it. I know how much of a gentleman you are."
Reese frowns and says, "But... isn't this what you wanted??" He seems confused, but that doesn't prevent his eyes from roaming, even to leer at Meeko. The Ambassador is very smart - that is well known - and judging by the look Reese gives her, he likes what he sees. He then looks back to Dylin and continues, "I'm not shy and.. I can tou - talk. I don't brea - blush when you look at me..." He fixes her with another smoky gaze and says, "I do like it when you look at me, Dylin." When Chandria touches him, he gives her a lookover and says, "Am I?? Acting that badly?" He turns back to Dylin and says, "I'm.. sorry, Dylin. I should be acting breaster - better.... I don't know what has come over me."
As he notices Reese leering openly at Meeko, Keats simply cracks a few knuckles and stares at the boy in a hard, stern manner. He doesn't move from his spot, staying against his staff which seems to have been rooted to the ground.
Dylin hastily stuffs the bit of chocolate in her mouth, licking her fingers clean. "There, Reese. All eaten." She attempts a bright smile. "I really think maybe you should sit down somewhere. Maybe I can fetch a Yellow to come and look at you?" What she wanted? She's not a tavernmaid!
Meeko shakes her head and holds back a giggle as she watches and listens to Reese and Dylin "It must be spring." she comments to Keats. Meeko walks over to another counter and looks through the items, she finds a wonderful knife with a bone handle and in a leather sheath. Ah she must have this, a gift for a friend then she walks here and there at the shop before going to her main guard "Keats what do you think of this knife?" she holds it out to him.
Chandria smiles at Reese, squeezing his arm gently. "Yes, perhaps the Novice is right. Some fresh air, I know the Tower has gardens and a lovely courtyard. And tea will help to clear your head." Then she looks at Dylin, arching an eyebrow. "I'm sure you can convince the Accepted to either help you, or let you take him back, can't you?"
Reese frowns a little and says, "I would rather sleep - sit with Dylin than go back to the Tower just yet. Unless you'd like to join me on one of the beds - benches outside, Chandria?" His look is postively smoking.
Out in the street, Mathor'an wanders in from the southwest, coming from Osendrelle Square.
Out in the street, Mathor'an makes his way into Teresi imports.
Mathor'an walks through to door into Teresi imports.
Keats watches Meeko as she wanders around the shop, seeming content to stay where he is while she does so... unless of course someone threatens her. As she returns to him with the knife he looks at it and comments, "It is pretty I suppose. Nice craftsmanship I guess, though I've never been one for knives other than those I use to eat."
Dylin takes that moment of distraction to slip past Reese and over near the Accepted she accompanied into the shop. Her cheeks are flushed and she looks distinctly uncomfortable.
Out in the street, Keldrig wanders in from the southwest, coming from Osendrelle Square.
Out in the street, Keldrig makes his way into Teresi imports.
Keldrig walks through to door into Teresi imports.
Chandria stands next to Reese, her hand on his shoulder. "No, I'm afraid no benches are outside. But there are in the Couartyard, this i do know." She motions over to the Novice, "See, she's asking permission to take you back. Don't you worry. Have some nice soothing tea and all will be well, I promise," she grins at Reese with a wink. The the bell above the door rings again. Chandria blinks once more. "Oh my, it certainly -IS- busy today."
Meeko humphs at the comment Keats makes, so much for buying him a gift. She spins round at Resses comment and shakes her head "If you are in need of a healer I might be able to help." she offers as she walks closer to the strange pair.
Reese smiles broadly and looks at Meeko - from head to toe with a few long pauses between - before saying, "I'm fine, I think, pretty lady. How are you doing?" He offers his hand and says, "My name's Reese Dathan, pleased to see - meet you."
Lucky Matt. He has a way of finding trouble. Just ask Dylin. Pushing open the door and coming in from the street, he blinks at the number of people within he recognises, and the funny expressions. What sort of party is going on he wasn't invited to? He just came to buy a box of chocolate for a friend. Then a slyish smile graces his lips briefly.
Chandria frowns, not quite at Reese. And the frown appears as Meeko speaks. Then she looks back to Reese, pondering his situation or something. "My mother knew a thing or two back in Bandar Ebon. I think he may have eaten something bad. Bad meat or what not, to have him being affected like this. Usually he can't talk to girls, let alone in one sentance."
Dylin suddenly fans herself, fingers running under the collar of her white dress. "Could I get a glass of water? It's awfully warm in here." She eyes Reese thoughtfully, but his attention has turned elsewhere. Well. Her gaze wanders past Chandria and the tall Accepted, then alights on Matt. A slow grin lights her eyes and she strolls over, oblivious to the rest of the room. "Master Mathor'an. You look /very/ handsome tonight." Her tongue runs over her lips, as though they're dry. "Did you come just to see me?"
Keats ponders stepping in to stop the young fool from embarassing himself in front of Meeko, but figures that she put herself in the middle of it, she can get herself out. So he stands there, holding onto his staff and watches the goings on with a bemused smile that has taken over his face.
Mathor'an raises his eyebrows, so high they nearly lift off his face. What the? "Er, Dylin?" He manages, and then leans down to murmur something soft to her.
Mathor'an mutters to Dylin, "... are you... want... do..."
Meeko nods to Chandria and tries to keep back the chuckle "What has he eaten Novice?" she realizes the Novice is eyeing Mathor'an, interesting nite she shinks "Chandria what are those delightful smelling things over there?" she points to the candies whose smell has been drawing her. Turning back to the Novice and Trainee waiting to see if they do want her assistance.
Reese offers the beautiful woman a green-wrapped chocolate and says, "Would you like one, my dear? They're very good, I have to say. I've not had anything like yo - them before, and am glad I did."
Chandria arches an eyebrow at Mathor'an, then frowns at Dylin's greeting. Chandria shakes her head then looks over to Meeko. "Oh, simple chocolates. I found a recipie and thought I would try my hand at them." She looks back to Reese, and pats his shoulder. "Tea, definitely tea." Calling out, without bothering to look at Dylin, "Novice, are you going back to the Tower with him, or do I have to kick everyone out of the shop to do so myself." For once in her life, Chandria doesn't sound pleased.
Dylin nearly purrs, reaching out a finger to touch Matt's chest. "Oh, yes. I do want to get into... trouble. Trouble sounds like a very, very good idea right now." She glances toward Chandria. "Him?" Her eyes alight on Reese. "Chocolate. He has chocolate." Her hand drops to her side and she makes her way toward the chocolate-bearing trainee.
Keats pipes up, "If you need any help, Mistress," he says calling to Chandria, "I shall be glad to help in kicking people out of your shop for you." The guy looks like he's always up for something.. physical.
Light Dylin's acting very weird tonight. Matt frowns as she just as suddenly wanders back to Reese, as if the chocolate had some consuming power. He's so startled in fact, that he wanders after her, still looking sorta... lost.. Now how often does that happen to Matt?
Meeko shrugs at the pair and takes one of the chocolates then returns to her browsing, or at least tries to. Meeko unwraps the treat and pops it into her mouth, enjoying the flavor "Oh my these are fantastic, I would love to purchase some to take back to the shop." she finshes the chocolate then walks in the direction of her guard, looking at this and that as she does.
Reese turns and says to Dylin, "If you want more chocolate, Dylin... you'll have to come for a... walk with me." He moves to stand very close to the Novice, almost nose to nose. He smiles and continues with his shocking looks and even more shocking leers.
Out in the street, Cedric wanders in from the southwest, coming from Osendrelle Square.
Out in the street, Zenra wanders in from the southwest, coming from Osendrelle Square.
Chandria tucks a ringlet behind her ear, and shakes her head to herself. Then she flashes Keats a typical smile. "I think I'll manage, eventually. I just wish Aunt Shina hadn't run off to the bl... " Chandria blushes, then continues, "The Tower. Sorry, I'm a bit ... overwhelmed." Then she looks to Meeko, motioning to a bowl on the counter. "A copper for 3 if you would like more. The reds are berry, the whites are plain and the greens, as you can tell, are mint." Then she looks around, smiling at
Dylin. "Please, if you would watch him for a moment, there are so many people here tonight." Then she smiles at Mathor'an. "Welcome to Menagerie Menagerie, formally known as Teresi Imports. May I assist you?"
Out in the street, Cedric chuckles and says, "Well, I've been called worse. And on the positive side, I didn't REALLY stab myself. That would have been... most unfortunate." He motions to the place and says, "Teresi Imports. This is where I've heard they have those chocolates."
Keats picks his staff up off the floor and walks over to Meeko. "This place is getting quite crowded and... well, strange. Perhaps we should find somewhere else to enjoy that quite walk you wanted?"
Out in the street, Zenra nods and notices Paulo's place not to far away. "I must remeber to go see Paulo some time.. been a while since I chatted with him too."
Out in the street, Cedric nods and opens the door for his Sedai, following her in.
Out in the street, Cedric makes his way into Teresi imports.
Cedric walks through to door into Teresi imports.
Out in the street, Zenra makes her way into Teresi imports.
Zenra walks through to door into Teresi imports.
Mathor'an is still sort of staring after Dylin when Chandria intercepts him, and he blinks at her, taking one step back. "What under the light, dark, and burned wheel is going on in here?" The words just fly bluntly off his tongue.
Only nodding at the comments of Chandria, Meeko is beginning to feel a bit strange. voices echo in her mind as she finds an imported belt and picks it up. She looks at it from one side then the other and fingers the delicate carvings before going to her guard "Oh Keats dear I think this would look wonderful on you" she holds out the belt, her other hand reaches out to grasp the staff Keats holds "My I never noticed what fantastic eyes you have." her voice takes on a bit of the sultary Saldaean that she is, her hand moves slowly up and down the staff. "My this staff is wonderful I would love to use is oneday soon." she smiles as her eyes become rivited on her guard.
Dylin smiles at Reese, her voice suddenly husky. "I will, will I? Walks are so distracting, though." She drops a kiss on his nose and deftly steals a piece of chocolate. "Or maybe you'll just give one to me." Good thing, too, because there are so many other fish to... hook. Her gaze wanders the shop hungrily, dwelling on each man there.
Reese laughs when Dylin kisses his nose and then does her one better, moving up behind her and slipping his arms around her waist. He says, "Well, then we can walk to a place where we won't be... distracted by anything." Ummmm... aren't trainees supposed to NOT do that sort of thing with Novices?
Keats smiles pleasantly as the belt is offered for his inspection and wonders when he suddenly become the person to shop with. He opens his mouth to comment on that exact thing she jumps in with a comment about his eyes. And then as she works on his staff he gives the impression of stepping back with not moving. "Ah... Meeko... are you alright..." If he weren't so stunned, he might actually be backing away a the moment.
Cedric enters the shop closely after Zenra. The look on his face can only be described as surprise. "What is going on here, Zenra," he asks his Sedai, hoping that she has the answer. "They seem to be... drunk?"
That's really too much for Matt. Just too much. Wether it be Meeko's behavior, or Dylin's or Reese's, it's too much for him. he turns around abruptly on his heel and removes himself from the shop without another word.
Mathor'an makes his way out the shop and emerges into the busy street beyond.
Zenra sets hergaze on those present. "They don't see to be to me.. no flushness of the face, no loud talking, like there usualy is at the Inn, you shloud be bale to recognize that Cedric. Though there are two here that should know better.. Novice.. where is your escort of an Accepted or Aes Sedai? "
Meeko chuckles then reaches up and looses her long hair, shaking it free. She then reaches out with her free hand, the other continues stroking the staff, and touches Keats chest "I am fine dear, dear Keats" her voice sensual "I want you to have that belt as my show of gratitude and when we return to the shop, no here is fine too, I will do the dance of Saldaea for you" she grins "I am quite good at the Sa'Sara and I am sure you will enjoy it." Meeko is definately not herself here, she begins to sway her hips as though to some music, totally uncaring that others are in the shop.
Chandria puts her hands on her hips, her eyes trailing about the shop, shaking her head. This is getting to be a bit too much for her. The bell above the door rings once more and Chandria looks over to see two more entrants. "We're just getting ready to close. SOrry. You'll have to come back another time." She's going to -KILL- Shina for this. If she's with that ... person at the TOwer, Chandria really -WILL- kill her.
Zenra mutters to Cedric, "... just... her... interested.. if... has... in a... sutle... not..."
Dylin was just about to relax into Reese when she's so rudely interrupted yet again. She strolls over to Zenra. It doesn't hurt that she has that nice big Gaidin standing next to her. "She's shopping, Aes Sedai." She even remembers to curtsey twice, although when she stands from the curtsey she's directly in front of Cedric, head tipped up to look at him admiringly. "My, you are a handsome one. I bet you'd be even handsomer if you smiled."
Cedric catches the words 'sa'sara' on the Ambassador's lips and blinks in more than surprise, but mortification. "Oh Light!" he says to Zenra. When Dylin comes near and comments, he says, "I suppose you'll have to ask my Sedai about that, won't you ~Novice~."
Keats glances down at Meeko's hand upon his chest, and then at the one that is stroking his staff, and then straight to Meeko's eyes as the Ambassador starts moving to that oh so interesting dance he has heard sailors talk about. "Ah... Ambassador Meeko... this might, ah, might not be the best place for you to do such a thing... your position.. ah, your office might suffer slightly from such a display..." or raise in certain areas...
Zenra trys not to laugh at the girl filtering with her warder. She nods curtly at the novice and waits to see the reaction her warder gives to this situation which actually is very common to his at the inn where he preforms reguallary.
Reese frowns when Dylin slips out of his arms, but shrugs. Chandria wants to close the shop, eh? That's perfect timing. The Tairen trainee moves over to the Domani girl and waits until he can breathe, "Perfect, my dove... you close the shop and then we can get back to those... talents you mentioned."
Dylin's eyes shift to Meeko. "Oh, I've always wanted to know how to do that." Since three minutes ago, at least. Cedric's arm gets a light pat as she moves past him, eyes alight.
Zenra looks at the trainiee. "I doubt that.. you know that it forbidden for traniess and novices to interact in such a way. I think that if your not careful.. on the morrow don't be surpirse if you ahve extra chores.... both of you. " Her voice is devoid of emotion and as her is facial features. Typical White she is..
Chandria closes her eyes for a moment, as if trying to set herself firmly in this reality. Her eyes snap open as Reese comes up to her, then her gaze slips over to the Aes Sedai. "Somehow, Trainee, I doubt that will be possible." Still, Chandria can't help but slipping a hand on Reese's arm, then she pulls it back quickly as if burned. "Blast it... he'll..." she mutters, then shakes her head. Raising hands above her arms, Chandria intones. "We are now closed! Out! Everyone out, Out, OUT!" Chandria grumbles, "I'm going to skin Shina like a wet rat that's been batted around by a blind cat!"
Laughing Meeko steps back from her guard, she hears his word but doesn't care much right now. She unfastens her cloak and slips it off slowly and lets it drop to the ground. She then looses her blouse a little "My it has gotten warm in here." her eyes never leaving her guard, such a handsome man with such nice assests. "Keats stop being such a prude and let me dance for you." her hips sway a bit more sensually as she begins the forbidden dance. She embraces and does a weave of air which she directs around the back of her guards neck, sending it down his back to tickle his skin lightly "now tell me you don't enjoy this." she grins "besides today is my day off and I can just be me for a change."
Zenra looks over at Meeko.. and now thinks something is wrong with her.. " Ambassador Meeko! " She trys to gets the wilder's attention. "Prehaps you might want to do your entertaining at home? The sales lady is closing?" Trying hard to diffuse this amorous event.
"Ah... really /Ambassador/," Keats emphasizes the title in hopes it will pull her back to her senses. And then she starts disrobing, thankfully stopping at keeping her blouse on, "Um,... ah, you really shouldn't be..." And then the usually stoic man jumps as the air goes down his back. His hands let go of his large stick and it clatters to the ground, startling Keats once more. Poor guy.
Cedric frowns at the Novice and then looks over at Meeko. "Oh Light!" he exclaims again, this time rushing over to make sure she gets her cloak on with all due haste. To keats, he says, "Sir if you have any idea what is to come, you had best get her out of the public eye now. And locking her up in a room would not hurt either..." The Gaidin looks around the place and decides to help the girl out, well, the Tairen specifically. He moves over to Reese and says sharply, "Trainee, don't you think it's time you were going?" He grabs the young man by his collar (OOC: Have permission from Reese) and then proceeds to drag him to the door, where he is tossed out the door, literally.
Reese tries to protest the manhandling, but can only say, "I'll come back to see you later, Chandria." He says to Zenra as he passes, "What's your na---" and is then tossed out the door.
Meeko jumps as the staff hits the ground then at the comments from Keats. She then feels the cloak being placed back on her and shakes her head "Oh loosen up this is fun." she looks to Chandria "I would like a dozen of those chocolates." then Meeko suddenly begins to giggle.
Chandria looks around, between one person to the next. Then she arches an eyebrow at Meeko. While it woudl be a nice dance to learn, not here, not now. The
Domani lass frowns deeply, crossing her arms over her chest, tapping her foot. "I'm going to kill her. Oh, yes, I am." Chandria, of course, doesn't really mean that... does she?
Dylin jumps as well when the staff drops to the ground, then again when Reese is flung out the door. "Well, that was quite uncalled for. " She runs to the doorway. "Reese? Are you alive? Can you breathe?" She brightens. "I can go breathe air back into his lungs if he can't." She slips out the door, mischief alight in her eyes.
Keats nods and leans down to grab his staff. Grasping it with white knuckles he steps forward to grasp the Ambassador by the shoulders, nodding his thanks to Cedric. Shooting a glance at Chandria he almost yells, "NO Chocolates. Don't listen to anything she has to say right now until the Ambassador is feeling better." Being rough if necessary, and trying to keep the cloak upon her, Keats starts leading Meeko out the door and back to the Apothecary.
Reese makes his way out the shop and emerges into the busy street beyond.
Dylin makes her way out the shop and emerges into the busy street beyond.
Meeko plants her feet, she embraces and runs tedrials of air down the collar of Keats shirt in order to try and tickle him enough to let her go. If he wants her gone he is going to have to carry her. She then begins to laugh hysterically.
Out in the street, Reese is lying on the street. He looks up at Dylin and then pretends to be unconscious or dead. He can't hide the smile, though.
Chandria frowns even more. "Ah, blood and bloody ashes," Chandria grumbles uncharateristically. "After this night, no one will ever bloody shop here again!" Chandria nods to Keats, then shakes her head. "I aught to put rocks in her bed or something. Grrr, I'm so bloody angry with her! I'm the child, but act more like an adult than -SHE- does!"
Zenra sighs an egasperated sigh.. ok though two will be getting extra chores on the morrow after she spoken with the Mon and the Moa. She then looks too Chandria and surmises that it somehting in the4 choclates that has some aphrodisact in in them?
Out in the street, Dylin does an admirable job of ignoring the smile. After all, it would ruin her excuse if he's actually not dying. She drops to her knees beside him, chest heaving prettily, and tips his head back. "Don't die, Reese. You have to get me more chocolate." Somehow, it's not likely that Accepted is going to bring /this/ particular novice along again. Dylin lowers her mouth to Reese's, then breathes out as an afterthought.
Keats squirms and wriggles as he is attacked by the unseen movements of tickling weaves. "Stop that!" He shots, or tries to between laughs. As Meeko starts laughing hysterically Keats grimaces and regains his senes enough to drag Meeko out of the shop. Finally.
Cedric looks to Zenra and says, "Sedai... perhaps we ought clear out so that the lady can close her store? We'll come back and try the chocolates later, so we don't keep her up all night." He looks to Chandria and says, "Unless the removal of those two students changes your mind, my Lady?"
Keats makes his way out the shop and emerges into the busy street beyond.
You make your way out of the shop and onto the street beyond.
Lamplighters travel down the street to make sure that they lamps are still brightly lit. A patrol of Tar Valon Guards can be heard marching down the streets, keeping order.
:
Keats, Meeko, Dylin, Reese
Reese mmmmphs as he's kissed - saved. His eyes open and he begins to kiss - save - Dylin back. His hands reach up to gently hold her cheeks as he's being saved.
Keats comes out of the shop, half draggin Meeko and half shoving her. Keats makes towards the Apothecary, ignoring any other tricks Meeko tries throwing at him as best he can. He doesn't even glance towards Reese and Dylin.
Zenra walks out of the Teresi imports shop.
Meeko pouts as she is dragged from the shop by Keats "Now is that any way to treat me cutie?" she again giggles "I want more of that wonderful chocolate please, pretty please."
Cedric walks out of the Teresi imports shop.
Keats says "Later, Meeko." Yeah right. He doesn't want to let her anywhere near that stuff ever again. "Let's get you back home where you can, ah, sober up some."
The two guards that were outside the shop are joined by the one inside. They simply glance at the two Tower students lying on the ground and then step inline to follow after Meeko and Keats.
Meeko pouts as she tries to convince Keats. "Fine then but I want to dance for you right her and now."
Cedric leaves the shop with Zenra and stops dead when he sees the liplock going on. He gives Zenra a glance and stalks over, hauling Reese to the ground, leaving the Novice for Zenra. (OOC: again, I have permission from Reese)
Keats gives a forceful, "NO!" in response to Meeko's demand. "You can do so in the Apothecary, if Maria will let you. Now come along!"
Zenra opens herself to the power and with thick weaves of air she lifts Dylin off the ground and levates her high in the air. "No enough of that!" Now her voice drips with ice.
Dylin wraps her arms around Reese, ignorant of those stepping over, around, and near them. She kisses him for a very very very long time... or at least until something lifts Dylin off the ground and leaves her hanging in the air. She blinks for a moment.
Meeko grins and reaches out for Keats staff "Maria is gone for the nite I will dance for you." Meeko stops struggling against her guard and chuckles "The dance is wonderful and I am sure you will enjoy it."
Reese dangles from Cedric's arm, his Tairen eyes locked to Dylin. "Don't worry, Dylin.. we'll go for a walk yet!" He looks to Cedric and spits, "You can set me down now, you lummox... Unless you want to carry me all the way to Dylin's room...."
Cedric gives the boy a shake and says, "Boy, if you get out of this week with just ONE visit to the infirmary, you will be a lucky lucky goat-kissing fool. Now shut up and walk as if you had one shred of pride in who you are." The Gaidin sets the boy down, ready in case Reese needs a cracked skull.
Dylin looks down at the ground, then oohs. "There's a breeze going up my dress." She tips her head thoughtfully. "A rather interesting sensation." Then she manages to look at Reese. "A walk? All I'm getting for saving your life is a walk?"
Keats finally drags Meeko into the Apothecary, leaving behind the chaos that has migrated from the Import shop.
Zenra walks back toward the tower.. not letting Dylin down. Just lets her hang 2 feet off the ground. Her shawl hang on her back.. she lets Cedric and Reese walk ahead of them, then fallows at a sedate pace. She says nothing to Dylin.
