Common Room: Flaming Arrow Inn, Tar Valon
The common room of the Flaming Arrow Inn attracts both travelers and residents of Tar Valon. Its casual elegance comes from the extensive use of waxed and carved golden oak. To one side, an solid staircase with bronze arrow banisters below the oaken railing rises to the upper floor. Across from the stairs, a huge stone fireplace sits below a mantle carved with flames and arrows on either side. Large beams cross the high ceiling, supported by shaped columns where lanterns are mounted. Windows are placed across the entry wall of the Inn, which lies opposite from the long bronze-trimmed carved bar by the kitchen door. The windows of the common room have all been opened wide, and the common room hearth is used only by patrons who sit upon its cool stone surface. The room is surprisingly cool for summer, due primarily to the ancient oak that shades the yard and roof above. Bouquets of summer flowers grace the mantle and tables, their scent freshening the room and providing color. Tantalizing smells waft from the kitchen and windows to mix here with the faint aroma of Tabac. The common room is filled with patrons this evening, delicious smells emanate from the kitchen, mixing with the faint smell of pipe smoke, around the room the hanging lanterns have been lit, their glow is cheery. By the door to the kitchen, a hand-lettered sign reads "This Evening's Special from the kitchen is: Clam Chowder, Smoked Fish, Fried Parsnips and Greens."
Contents: Keats, Faleen
Keats sits at the bar, drinking an ale or something similar.
Keats takes a seat at the Long Oak Bar.
Faleen comes into the Inn for an evening drink. That last few months have been trying on Faleen but few could tell by how she looks. Hair maticuously in place and spotless, Faleen walks over to the bar. She orders a wine from the barkeep "Just put that on my tab please." her voice pleasantly soft as she sips the drink she is served. Faleen looks around and smiles at the man seated at the long oak bar, she eyes him and nods slightly in greeting.
You take a seat at the Long Oak Bar.
Kelsyn comes into the common room from the stable yard outside.
Faleen looks around and smiles at the man seated at the long oak bar, she eyes him and nods slightly in greeting.
Keats nods politely to Faleen as she sits near him, but other than that he seems content to simply sip from his ale and stare at the wall for a while.
Cloak billowing in a zepherus summer breeze as Kelsyn enters the door, causes colors to shift in a haphazard and hard to endure pattern, as greens, silvers, and other 'melding' colors mix together before it falls silent against his back. The Gaidin grunts gruffly, eyeing a man who brushes past him in a hurried fashion to leave the Inn, causing him to almost growl in a feral manner. Leaving things be, rather than persuing them, he stomps toward the bar and roughly takes a seat, eyes keen on everything about him.
Continuing to watch the man at the bar Faleen begins to play with a strand of silken hair, her gaze goes to the man who rushes out but then she sees the colorful giant that enters and her eyes widen. She clutches the hair a bit tighter as her gaze follows the giant one to the bar. Suddenly remembering how she must act in public Faleen simply nods to the colorful one then graciously takes her wine glass. She then looks over the the other man, Keats, and smiles "Good evening sir." she hopes to engage this one in conversation, he is a good looking man and Faleen has been alone and in mourning far to long.
Keats glances towards the door and the traffic there. He blinks a few times at Kelsyn's cloak. As the man sits down he comments, "That cloak good for anything beside givin people stomach aches?" He grins slightly and takes a chug of his ale before his attention is distracted by Faleen. He forces a smile and nods. "Good even, miss." He doesn't continue, instead waiting for Kelsyn's reaction.
A low rumble escapes Kelsyn's lips as he turns to regard Keats. Ice blue eyes take in the other man's frame, almost as though sizing him up for a good fight. This particular Gaidin is one rumored to be well off kilter, sometimes referred to as 'the man who almost killed Trainee so and so'. "Yes." Thats it, that's all the answer he gives before he looks back to the barkeep and grunts, "Ale," fully expecting to be served forthwith.
Faleen sighs as the cute one seemingly ignores her, men prefer a good contest of strength and show rather than one as beautiful as she. She sips delicately at the wine and turns to the colorful giant and smiles, that is until the rumble escapes his lips. Faleen jumps and with a crash, the wineglass ends up on the floor. She is a delicate spirit and such a noise, such a sound coming from him, he must not be human. She then realizes some of the wine got on her fine clothing and calls out "barkeep get me a rag." she is not delicate here by any means.
Not having associated with the Tower crowd much, Keats is unaware of Kelsyn's particular mental state. Or peculiar one if you will. However, he shrugs at the man's simple one word response. He starts turning back towards his drink when he notices the mess that Faleen just made. Glancing towards her he comments, "Having trouble with your drink, miss?
The crash appears to draw Kelsyn's attention, the shattering of the glass hard to ignore. His ice blue gaze then falls upon Faleen, however briefly. He grunts in her direction, offering a quick nod, then turns back to the barkeep. The prescribed ale comes, as expected, and then the barkeep goes to help Faleen. Kelsyn puts most of his attention into the drink, gulping nearly half of it in one fell swoop.
A bit flustered Faleen looks to the cute one "Why yes, there must have been something on that glass it simply slid out of my hand." her voice a bit calmer but her eyes shift to the giant one then back. "I suppose the barkeep can clean the mess." She then smiles as she looks to Keats "I do not believe we have met sir, I am Faleen the Social Secretary of Tar Valon." she wears the title like a crown, and for her it is. "You are?"
Keats ahs softly and doesn't seem to believe that story at all. But, at least he doesn't point that out. Smiling a bit he nods again. "A pleasure to meet you, Faleen," he says. "I am simply called Keats, and am currently a guard to Ambassador Meeko. May I buy you some wine to replace the one that... slipped out of your hand?"
Faleens smile vanishes when she hears the name of that fool of a woman "How ever did one such as you get mixed up with that Sage?" she doesn't use the formal title since, in her mind, it belongs to Adri. Faleen left the city when Adri died and Meeko took over, she refused to work under that woman. "I would appreciate another drink Keats." she finally responds. Again she glances to the colorful giant "My you do have a way with a drink Mr. Giant." yep she is falling back to her roots with that comment, could it be hearing the name of the hated Meeko has upset her.
Quirking a brow, Kelsyn turns once more toward Faleen, eyeing the woman in the same manner a predator would his victim. There's something dark and auspicious about him; a manner which seems to suggest he's a panther on the prowl, always after some sort of prey. He grunts, then shrugs, chugging back the other half of his ale with a proficient manner. Faleen's words seem not to phase him at all, as he looks over at the barkeep once more, settling his empty mug upon the bar top with a loud clank.
Keats orders another wine for Faleen and then returns his attention back to the lady. "Well, I needed a job, and she offered one. Tis as simple as that." Downing the rest of his drink and ordering another he goes on to say, "So what does being the Social Secretary of Tar Valon mean?" he asks simply.
Faleen shivers as the giant looks at her and quickly turns back to Keats, the cute one "Thank you for the drink." She then considers the questions carefully, she must try and impress people as best she can now that she is alone once again. Both her bosses dead and she, alone in the big city. Faleen begins to play with that strand of hair again "I could use one such as you if you ever decide to leave that she-wolf. Well being Social
Secretary ment doing a lot of paperwork and scheduling for Master Adri. He was a busy man and did not have time for such things. He was planning a big ball for the city in celebration when he fell sick and that leech of a woman swooped in on his job." She continues speaking in her soft mannerly voice even when speaking of Meeko "When my dear Adri died I was the only one with him and it was terrible so I left for awhile to clear my head. Once I returned I found my other boss, Kirill was hung." she sighs "I do not know what this city is coming to but I know Meeko must have something to do with all of it."
Keats hmms softly and says just as softly, "I see." He drinks for a bit before commenting again. "Well... perhaps if something comes up, I will take your offer of employement. As for right now... things are going well enough. Is there any reason you do not like my employer? Perhaps something that might be good to know for one who works for her?"
Faleen smiles at the thought of this cute one working for her and taking him away from *that* woman "Oh nothing much Keats, she is simply a fool. She romanced Kirill, a married man, and showed no consideration for his poor wife. She is a witch and just plain foolish the way she behaves." Faleen's eyes again glance to the giant as though making sure he is still there and not moving toward her in any manner "I really do not think she has done a very good job for the city and I think you could do better by working for me."
Keats shrugs again and says simply again, "We'll see." And with that he returns to his drink, sipping instead of chugging it now.
'Witch', oh boy did that ever get Kelsyn's attention. He whips around, hand on his sword in a menacing manner, "If you mean to run for High Ambassador woman, you will learn to respect the White Tower and those that dwell within it. The term 'witch', I don't care /who/ it refers to, is not to be used. Understood?" Oie, there's that dark, glowering, glimmering expression showing in his eyes, almost like a storm ready to rage.
Faleen jumps as the giant speaks to her "Yes sir." she replies "I was not refering to the Tower Sedai, they are a respectful lot, but to Meeko, a wilder who has no ties and does not even like those at the Tower." As she speaks her voice is shaky "Meeko is not a good person, she goes out with married men then brags how they are going to marry her. She, well she is two faced and deserves the title of wi... that thing." Faleen is shook and takes a long drink from the wine. This giant is not one she wants to mess with, least not in broad daylight and face to face.
Keats remains silent during the conversation between the Social Secretary and the Wild Warder. He sips quietly from his mub of ale, though he may intervene if he thinks the woman is threatened.
Nor in the dark of night, not with Kelsyn's keen senses and honed skills. "Still, you will not use that word. There are others yet who would reprimand you more than I for its mere use." And, with that, he turns back around, going back to ignoring Faleen once more. "I think I'll have some soup and some tea now." The tea, perhaps, to counter effect the ale he just drank.
Faleen nods to the giant politely "Yes sir, I will remember that sir." she is all manners untill she turns away so he cannot see and rolls her eyes. She then takes her glass and drinks more of the wine "Keats." her voice silky "Might I repay the favor and buy you a drink?" she smiles and orders for both of them before getting a response.
It is, perhaps, a good thing that Kelsyn had not seen the rolling of Faleen's eyes, for if he had, there is no telling what the Gaidin might have done. The barkeep blinks at the interaction, appearing more on edge now than he had been before the Gaidin entered the room. He nods to Kelsyn's words, ensuring that soup and tea are brought out right away, not wanting to anger the man any more than necessary.
Keats nods, "I'd be much appreciative of that. Which," Is he grinning as he says that word, "drink will you be ordering for me." Yep, definitely a smirk there though he pointedly doesn't look at Kelsyn.
Faleen chuckles at Keats words "Oh whatever you wish Keatsey." she smiles beautifully. Turning to the barkeep, almost as an afterthought "put the food and drink for that giant on my tab." she does not dare look directly at Kelsyn, but why would she when one as handsome as Keats is in the room.
Keats places his order to the barkeep and then asks for some bread as well. Perhaps to soak up all that alcohol in his system. "So... do you originally come from Tar Valon?" he asks of Faleen as he sips from his ale and waits for his bread.
"You'll do no such thing." Kelsyn states to the barkeep, grumbling a faint growl which emits from the back of his throat. "I'll take care of my won tab." He's terribly insistant on that, and the barkeep doesn't seem to be arguing with what Kelsyn wants. The Gaidin takes his bowl of soup on his hands, and starts to eat it civilly with a spoon.
No way is Faleen going to argue with this one, some may call her a fool but she does not have a death wish "As you prefer Sir. I do love that cape of yours maybe you could give me the name of your taylor." this comment directed to
Kelsyn before Faleen turns back to the cute Keates "I am from Saldaea but have been here for so long now it feels like home. Where are you from Keats." she takes her drink from the barkeep and sips as her dark eyes watch Keats.
"I come from the back ass end of Andor," comments Keats gruffly and continues on with, "And I haven't been gone long enough if I can still remember it this clearly." With that statement out of the way he gulps his drink and sets it down with a thunk. Some of the ale still in the mug sloshes out. "Saldaea eh, that's all the way up there near the Borderlands, isn't it?"
Smiles as she listens to Keats, her eyes never leaving his handsome form. Oh gruffness, such an assest in a man "well maybe sometime you can come to my home at tell me all about your homeland." There she goes again after the men "Yes I suppose it is." refering to her homeland "I never paid much attention I was much to busy survivi...living" oh my she slipped again, Adri would be upset if he heard her. "I came here and have learned so much I try and forget that bit of my life there."
Lileine comes down the wooden stairs from the second floor.
Finishing his soup in short order, Kelsyn pushes the bowl away so that he might enjoy the tea he ordered to wash it down with - never mind that soup is a liquidy food. He turns just slightly to regard Keats when he mentions Andor, being from that region as well. He grunts to himself, smirking over something or another. "Seamstresses and other workers at the Tower." There, at least Faleen got an answer to her question.
Keats ahs, "Perhaps I can... though I'd rather forget my homeland. Nothing ever happened there and I doubt anything ever will besides growing food, shearing wool, and other mundane things." He gulps some more of his drink, finishing it.
Faleen turns abruptly as the giant speaks "why thank you sir, my I do not even know your name sir." she again is speaking to Kelsyn "Do you suppose they would do some work for me, I could pay them very well?" Faleen sits at the bar and sips at the wine pondering the riches Adri left her. She then turns to Keats "well maybe we could just meet for a nice meal and chat about you working for me." Oh yes she finally learned to cook and wants to show off for this one. Maybe she can dig up some dirt on that woman running against her in the elections.
"Not bloody likely," Kelsyn comments to Faleen - though whether its to give his name or if he's commenting on the Tower seamstresses, its hard to say. He lifts up his mug in a refined manner, and takes a cautious sip of his hot tea, taking a moment or two to turn around to face the common room once more and view who's present. Again, there's that keen predatory sense about him; the panther out to stalk his prey.
Lileine tiptoes down the stairs, wide blue-green eyes peering around the room, searching hopefully for someone. She is unable to conceal her disappointment at not finding them. Her eyes lower along with her chin as she arrives at the foot of the stairs. Passing by the trio at the bar, she ducks her head in an almost nod, and a quick, shy smile to Faleen. Her eyes widen with interest as she studies Kelsyn a moment longer than the others.
Kedrin comes down the wooden stairs from the second floor.
Kelsyn sits at the bar, drinking a mug of tea, as he perviews the area silently. The aura about him is one that almost suggests a dark and menacing nature, yet he keeps to himself for the most part.
Bellator comes into the common room from the stable yard outside.
Keats says, "Yes, we should do that at some point or another, Faleen. However, I think I must turn in for the night. I have things to do early in the morn. Twas a pleasure meeting with you." With that he rises from his barstool and nods politely to the lady.
Faleen again rolls her eyes towards Keats as she hears Kelsyns words, she does not respond to the colorful giant. She sighs "Keats please stay I will buy you another drink or something I am truely enjoying your company." she speaks soflty this time "that giant man scares me too." she then notices the woman and nods back to her politely "my the Inn is growing busy."
Kedrin ambles down the stairs into the common room, patting his pockets as though to make sure he's got everything he wants. Pausing at the foot of the stairs, he glances around the common room before shrugging and heading over to the bar to get a drink before he heads out.
Entering into the Common Room comes Bellator, he goes quickly to order himself some ale and find an empty seat. However, when he arrives upon a spot, he then begins to glance around the area at the other patrons.
Kelsyn grunts, nodding at Kedrin as he pauses by the bar, then stops his gaze a moment or two on Leleine. He gives the woman a polite nod, much more than what he offered Faleen - but then, that woman did insult those wielding the One Power.
Keats smiles politely, "As pleasant as it would be to stay with you a while longer, Faleen, I fear I really must go. Fare thee well and Light Illumine." With one last nod he heads towards the door, nodding politely to those he passes on the way.
Lileine blushes at the attention, especially that of the imposing figure of Kelsyn. Shyly she makes her way to a table near the window. She waits patiently for a server to approach her table, and asks politely for tea.
Faleen frowns as Keats leaves "Dinner tomorrow nite I will meet you on the Alindaer bridge at dusk." she grins and turns her attention to the others. First she watches the woman and her interactions, hmm she may be a good one to befriend. She then nods to Kedrin as he sits at the bar. She notices Bellator and smiles "Master Bellator I am sorry you did not get elected in that last vote." she smiles politely putting on her political face "May I buy you a drink?"
Keats opens the door to the stable yard and heads outside.
Kedrin amicably returns nods from Kelsyn and Faleen as the bartender slides the mug across the table to him. Fishing around in his coat, the young man slides some copper across the counter with a slight grimace. If his luck is anything like last night's, well...he might be in some financial difficulty. Still, he's got ale here'n now, and that's something at least, he thinks as he takes a deep drink from the mug, looking over the room again. He doesn't think he knows anyone here. Doesn't matter much anyway...after he finishes this ale he'll head on out.
Kedrin does not have approval to roleplay a special character. Please inform the staff immediately if they are claiming abilities they were not approved to roleplay.
Finishing his tea, Kelsyn sets his mug down at the bar, then rises from the stool which he occupies. The color-shifting cloak which he wears jostles a bit, possibly causing some disorientation to the eyes should anyone be watching it. He offers a blunt nod to Faleen, at least observing some etiquette, then stomps toward the door; his footfalls heavy more than of any emotion he might possess. He also nods to Liliene, this one more polite to the one he offered the candidate for High Ambassdor. He even manges to crack a slight quirking of his lips for the woman - though only that much - which might resemble something close to a smile.
Alesse comes into the common room from the stable yard outside.
Kelsyn is walking toward the door, obviously on his way out - though his attention is currently on Liliene.
Lileine waits for her tea with her hands folded in her lap, barely glancing at the other patrons, but occasionally looking up as someone new enters. When the server brings her tea, she reaches into the finely beaded pouch at her waist and rummages around, pulling out a silver coin and proferring it to the server. Distracted by the Warder's sudden noisy departure, she doesn't notice that the server happily pockets the entire coin and bustles off without giving her any change.
Kedrin is seated at the bar, nursing a mug of ale as he watches the activity in the common room.
Kelsyn opens the door to the stable yard and heads outside.
After a quick pause in the doorway, letting her eyes adjust to the light, Alesse enters the common room. She pulls her gloves off as she heads over to the bar, noting the few faces that she recognizes with a faint nod, most notably for Bellator.
Glancing around as he sits, Bellator nods towards Alesse. He watches Kedrin and then turns towards Lileine as the warder departs. After he gets about half way through his ale, he glances towards Faleen.
Dorian comes into the common room from the stable yard outside.
Kedrin casually tosses Alesse a mock salute as he raises the mug to his lips to hide a slight grin. Glancing down to his mug for a moment, he frowns. Done already? He sighs, and slides the mug back to the bartender. "Uh," he says slowly. "Just some water right now."
Sitting at the bar Faleen watches the giant man leave and the heightened activity, oh how much she wants to leave. "Master Bellator how are you this evening." she smiles then looks to Lileine and again smiles.
Lileine sits down at the Window Table.
Tayndra comes into the common room from the stable yard outside.
Settling her coat about her as she sits, unbuttoning it. She sits next to Faleen, not knowing the woman from anyone else in the room, She orders a tall glass of water, nodding her thanks to the man who will soon be running this place for her.
Stands from his seat to walk closer to Faleen, "I am fine Miss..." He laughs slightly, "Have I a reputation to procede me or have I merely forgotten your name?" He nearly finishes his ale and instead orders himself water this time.
Lileine turns her open-mouthed gaze from the departing Warder in time to follow the Alesse's movements into the common room. She is sitting by herself at a table near the window. A cup of tea as yet untouched sits before her.
Kedrin shrugs and sips the glass of water. Water...bleah. He begins to wonder exactly why he's just sitting here. The regulars must already be dicing...
Faleen eyes the woman that sits beside her and nods then turns her attention to Bellator "I do not think we have been formally introduced Master Bellator but I know of you from the last debates." she smiles and extends a delicate hand towards Bell "I am Faleen, the Tar Valon Social Secretary and newly announced runner for High Ambassador." she looks at Bellator "I was on the campaign with the late Master Adri." she adds.
The back door to the inn opens and in scurries Tayndra. The young woman tries to remain out of the way of the servers coming in and out of the kitchens and fails once or twice resulting in being bumped around and tosseled about. With a grimace she moves further into the room to find a free chair.
After ordering, Alesse spins about on the stool, watching the room with a well-trained eye. She turns an interested eye towards Faleen... ahh, so this is the new competitor.. She doesn't talk yet, relying on Bellator to blow her cover soon enough. A hand stretches back to take the glass of water and sip it lightly.
"Ah, Adri... I vaguely remember that name from the last election. However, I was more concerned with the Ambassadorial Canidates... It appears that Cavaeya Sedai is running for Ambassador this year, as I remember she was rather ruthless in her campaign for High Ambassador, it might have contributed to her losing." Bellator says, while extending his hands towards Faleen, "Though, I must admit I support Miss Meeko in her campaign and as far as Ambassador, I just hope that they two Aes Sedai running will effectively split the vote that only one would have recieved otherwise." He grins at the last part, nodding towards Alesse. "How are you? I assume your meeting went well enough?" The last part is clearly directed at Alesse.
Dorian elbows his way through the door, his other hand busy scratching rather vigourously at the back of his neck. Aya.. seems to be a rather nasty itch. Boring brown eyes blink blearily in the change of lighting.. they adjust after a moment, though, and, realizing that he's in.. well, in some of these peoples cases, polite company, he stops scratching. Hm.. doesn't seem to recognize many people here. At least not until he looks towards the stools.. it's hard not to recognize that uniform, nor the woman in it. Nearly at the same time his ears pick up the very recognizeable voice of one ex-Guard Bellator.. and they're talking about politics. Ugh. Well.. Bellator did say that politics were bread and butter to an officer.. so maybe it's time he learned a few things. So he inches towards the trio, though he lets his eyes wander everywhere else.
Faleen inadvertently pulls back her hand as she hears that hated name "You support Meeko? I am shocked you would support such a woman. She will destroy this town." Faleen just doesn't like the Wilder "I am sorry I should not speak of my opponent that way but she does upset me after taking up with a married man, the man I use to do books for." she sighs "Oh how sad that he went mad after his family was killed, Kirill was never the same after that." her eyes show her sadness as she speaks of the man who was hung.
With the heat of summer bearing down on the city and all those inhabitants that call it home, Tayndra eyes each cold glass of liquid that comes out from behind the counter to be given to a patron at one of the tables. Finding a place along a wall the girl licks her lips wantingly and settles only for a soft sigh to cool her spirits.
Lileine looks around in bewilderment. Politics...women in uniform...so many people, too. She takes a sip of tea and cocks half an ear to the conversations around her. She gives Tayndra a shy smile, then a concerned one. Gesturing to a server, she murmers something, pointing to Tayndra.
Kedrin looks down at the glass in his hand, then, leaving it on the bar, stands up from the stool. Too bloody quiet here for his liking, and no company. He shakes his head with some regret. Too bad. At least the ale here is decent. Sighing, he stretches his legs, and heads for the door, letting the talk flow around him. Politics...all well and good, he supposes, and he'll leave those in Tar Valon to it.
Bellator shakes his head slightly, "Destory the town? Who do you think ran the town when Adri was forced to resign? Or would you acuse her of that too?" He looks at his water, drinking some of it. "It is not the point, she is my friend and as such I shall support her in this campaign. Wether or not anyone else likes the idea." He seems to ignore the part about Kirill.
"Good fishing, Bellator. Quite a relaxing place to hold a meeting, I must say." She smirks after a moment, pausing to let Fareen talk, "I must agree with you, Mistress Faleen..." Alesse says, looking about at the girl inching along the back, "It .. was very sad.." She keeps her eyes on the girl, not an employee, else she'd know who she was, and only employees use the back door... "Bellator, please.. stop being so combative..."
While eyeing one of the servers walking out from behind the counters Tayndra is rather surprised when one of them actually comes and stops next to her offering a cold drink. The girl withdraws slightly almost afraid to touch the cold liquid even offered. She shakes her head vigorusly at first till the server points over in Lileine's direction and sets the glass down on a nearby table walks away. That glass just sits there for the longest time waiting to be taken and drank...but she just stares at it as if it would bite her if touched.
Faleen shrugs and finishes her wine then rises "I must be going Bellator we shall speak again just be warned Meeko is not what she seems." she smiles then stops and turns looking the woman over who spoke "Do I know you?" Faleen should know the woman but the trauma of the last few months has had her a bit out of touch. "I suppose I should know who you are but with caring for Adri and then his death it was difficult to keep up. I do know that Meeko is not as sweet as she leads people to believe, but is anyone who takes a married man as a lover?" she smiles.
Lileine nods encouragingly to Tayndra, some of her own shyness forgotten in her interest in doing a kindness for someone else. She glances up nervously as Faleen addresses Alesse, looking relieved that the question was not meant for her.
"Alesse Hithaso," Alesse states, "Second in command of the Tar Valon Guard." She smiles faintly, "We shall have to talk soon, Mistress Faleen. We share similar ideals.." She smiles, "Light shine, Mistress Faleen.."
"And you have met Miss Meeko, then? Or do you base your assumption on reputation? Reputations can be as misleading as anything. I have been friends with Meeko since that elections which has been some three years past." Bellator responds, glancing towards Alesse. "Oh, I'm just stating my opinon, Alesse. I am not attempting to be combatative at all. However, it shall be interresting see you and Miss Faleen debate... well, perhaps not, it might not turn out to be much of a debate at all."
Tayndra reaches out to the glass and places her fingers around it only to retract them suddenly when a server passes by. Looking left and right and seeing that there are no servers out and about she snatches the glass quickly and hugs the cool cup to her body a moment then rubs it over her neck and forehead before ever taking a drink of the refreshing liquid. When at long last Tayndra does she lets out a soft squeel and smile of delight.
Faleen smiles again "Ah you are the other woman running, we shall have to have tea someday soon." Faleen has not been so far out of touch that she hasn't read the announcements. She turns to Bell "I just do not like her, she is simply not as sweet and wonderful as everyone believes her to be." she nods to Bell and Alesse "It has been a pleasure to meet you Alesse and seeing you again Bellator." she then works her way through the crowd and vanishes into the night.
