Setting:
Common Room: Silver Star Inn, Cairhien
The room appears rather serviceable for an inn common room. Tables and chairs are scattered through the area, as smells of food and ale permeate the room. There is a bar near the kitchen, where drinks may be served to those who do not wish to eat a meal. Several paintings and portraits appear to line the walls, as well as some banners and flags, showing off different things to the patrons and to allow for decoration. Almost everything appears clean, or as clean as it can get.
A warm breeze floats generously throughout the room, through the open windows, slightly billowing the curtains as it passes. Flashes of light filter in through the window, bright and sunny, showing that it's well into the afternoon hours. The room itself seems to be rather bright and busy, with servers dodging in and out of the room, and bustling between tables to get orders out.
A large oak door appears to lead outside toward the stable yard of the inn. A set of sturdy stairs leads upstairs into the a hallway which houses guest rooms and the common sleeping area. A large archway leads into a nearby tea room.

Kargan emerges from the Rose Tea room, wrapping his cloak about his shoulders. He runs a hand through his hair as he strides towards the courtyard beyond.

Tanril is sitting in the bar area with a Cairhien man, making his conversation with the man heard throughout the entire common rooms. "They did!" he exclaims to the man, before lowering his voice to a whisper " ... And then the damned ..." he goes on, his voice going between whispers and yells.

Kargan emerges from the Rose Tea room, wrapping his cloak about his shoulders. He runs a hand through his hair as he strides towards the courtyard beyond.

A servant comes by and brings Tanril another glass of wine. Winking at him, she pats his upper thigh.

A short, plump woman with a motherly look to her smooth face. Somewhere in her fourties or fifties, she walks with a slight waggle, a thick gnarled stick her support. Mellow green eyes sweep across the world around her, warmth in the smile that accompanies her for anyone she sees. She wears a light brown cloak over a stout woolen dress, high necked and long hemmed.

An old woman waggles in the door, smiling a big motherly smile at the bouncer at the door. The largish brute all but melts, the stoic face he keeps splitting in a toothy smile. She waves at the servant serving Tanril, motioning her over as she speaks in a croon. Strangely comforting, at that. "Ah, come here child, talk to me for a moment."

Tanril watches the servant leave, a rich smile on his expression. Rich with some intoxication. "Now that, is a nice wenche to have over," he says to the poor Cairhien man that is forced to talk with Tanril.

Kargan emerges from the Rose Tea room, wrapping his cloak about his shoulders. He runs a hand through his hair as he strides towards the courtyard beyond.

Televan sits at a table with three lower ranking Children. Well, lower than him that is. They talk quietly at a corner table, discussing something of import by their hushed tones which don't even make it that far past the table. Actually it might be more accurate to say Televan talks while the others listen. Three untouched mugs of Ale lay on the table between them.

The servant returns from speaking with the motherly woman, who waggles back to the door and leaves. The woman's next actions are nothing short of appaling to those that are true to the Light. She moves herself so obviously in front of Tanril, giving him a wink of dimensions as she moves towards the doors. "I will be going to the stables." she says, a bit louder than needed to the man at the door. She half turns there, winking at Tanril again. Such a lewd woman! She should be shown the way of the Light no?

"And did you know, my lord..." one of the seated whitecloaks says, looking around conspiratorily, "...that in Mayene, they are said to perform unnatural and blasphemous acts with the oilfish they catch? I heard this spoken by a Tairen trader, fresh from the Fingers of the Dragon!"

Tanril looks to the woman and mutters something about wenches. As he lifts from his seat, he shifts slightly against the floor to steady himself. Winking to the Cairhien man he had been talking to, he makes his way out.

Scene change to: Stable: Silver Star Inn, Cairhien

Ellorin looks up quickly at Cavaeya, eyes surprised and almost wary. Was that...kindness?

Ellorin stands near one of the first stalls in the stable, next to Cavaeya.

Irinya's standing a bit further into the stable, yet seeing the entrance... Her male Illusion disguise falls, to get ready for other weaves, still holding the source as Tanril enters..

Irinya stands just behind/next to Cava and Ellorin.

Cavaeya steps away from Ellorin the moment someone enters the stable, her posture suddenly changing subtly. She stands a dozen paces from the door, now. Another woman stands behind her, moving so she is able to see the door as well.

The serving lady pokes her head in momentarily, waving towards Rayche. She gives a brisk nod as she waves the others to the shadowy corners of the room. Readying herself, she gives a whispered, "I will focus. Attend when he enters."

Ellorin nods, ducking into the stall in front of which she was standing, bending her head so she is not seen behind the wall.

Caliea comes into the inn stable and looks around, blinking at all of the people.

Tanril walks through into the stables, his head waivering about as he looks for the wench that had inticed him here. The man does stop suddenly in his feet, mad eyes hinting on curiousity before they turn to fear.

Seven women are standing around the door to the stable, some of them stepping out from the darkened stalls or corners. None of them look at all extraordinary, but they are all intent on something. Tanril, it would seem, who has just entered, Caliea a few steps behind.

Kargan sidles into the stables, brushing aside his cloak revealing leather leggings and a whitecloak tabard. He peers around in the gloom, his blue eyes searching.

The motherly figure looks anything /but/ that right now, as she steps forward, looking intently at Tanril. Lightning quick, she forms the weave of a shield, slamming it home at Tanril's connection to the One Power as Air weaves around his limbs from toes to head, a gag forming as well.

Tanril looks about with a sudden shock, something hitting him hard: Fear. His feet try to step backwards, both at once as he almost falls. The man closes his eyes, and reaches for the One Power too urgently, fumbling with it, trying to grasp it.

Ellorin is barely a shadow, near the entrance to one of the stalls, wrapped in a heavy gray cloak that hides her face despite the heat, and not moving. IN fact, in the darkness she might go completely unnoticed.

All that moves on Tanril are his eyes, wide as they are, they stare in horror into the darkness. His chest and throat move as he tries to speak, but no words come out.

Cavaeya steps forward, a deep Amadician bonnet hiding her features from sight. "Very good," she murmurs, her voice sounding curiously loud in the tense silence.

Irinya's disguise has dropped, but she is standing behind the others, her red dress hidden in the darkness. Calm, concentrated, implacable dark eyes concentrated on Rayche and Tanril.

Kargan raises his chin as he watches the interaction between the woman and the man. His hand closes on the sword hilt near his shoulder as he edges closer.

"You will do no such thing, boy", Irinya's smooth voice snapping like a whip as Kargan's hand moves for the sword.

Televan opens the doors a moment or so after Kargan enters, giving him a moment to move out of the way. Not trying at all to be inconspicuous he bellows. "Boy. Saddle our horses and be quick about it." Two other Children of high rank, though still beneath Televan's, enter at his back. They seem wary, ready for anything. Televan actually manges a warder's sense of readiness even as he yells for the stableboy to sadle his horses. Quickly looking around he notices others here and growls, "Whats this? Threatening one of my own?"

Rayche hisses something as the Whitecloak arrives. Just what they need. "Leave. This business does not concern you." she says, stepping forward into the light.

Cavaeya lifts a hand to tug at the ribbon which holds her bonnet in place, but doesn't remove it. A low, quick breath hisses from between her teeth as the Whitecloaks enter, but she steps forward rather than away. She is now some four paces from Tanril, six or seven from the door and the men around it.

Tanril is visibly trapped in the works of the dark one, hands and feet in unnatural position. Not a hint of movement comes from the man.

Televan grumbles in a clearly heard voice. "All that is in the Light concerns us."

"Hey, I know you... you were the witch in the inn in Tar Valon!" Kargan says suddelny as he looks at Irinya. "What are you doing here? Whats this, some sort of Shadow ritual, eh!" This time the young lieutenant bares inches of steel as he begins to draw his sword.

The two Children at Televan's back have their hands on their swords and the only thing holding them from drawing cold steel to plunge into Aes Sedai's black hearts is the fact that their commander has not done so yet.

"This man can channel." states Rayche, face calm as her voice is. "He will be taken to Tar Valon, where he will be tried and Gentled. Do not interfere, you have no perception of the dire consequences."

Cavaeya snaps in a voice like iron, "Hold, Whitecloaks!" She removes her bonnet, revealing smooth, coppery features. "This is not your affair."

Rayche glances a split second towards Cavaeya. Yes yes, she already said that.

Irinya snaps at the Whitecloaks. "For Lights sake, if you interfere, this man might just as well obliterate the room and everything in it. So stand back!" Her voice cracks hard, like a whip, very likely to draw attention.

Televan hmphs. "I recognize these /Aes Sedai/." From his mouth it seems the worst curse. Glancing at Cavaeya briefly, and then ignoring her for the most part, he returns his gaze to the closest one, "A likely claim. This poor soul has probably stumbled upon your ritual and that is why you hold him."

Ellorin, still in shadows, begins to move slowly towards Cavaeya, and towards the front of the room. She says nothing, and perhaps, in the other commotion, she goes unnoticed still.

Tanril continues to be motionless, though the fear of the dark one clear in his eyes.

Drawing his sword completely, Kargan hefts it in his right hand. "I know he can channel, Red Witch. I have been searching for him for some time... what I must ask now is why you are here with him. And why he is not dead." He looks back at Televan for some initiative.

Two other sisters, no doubt Red from the way they keep every ounce of attention on the man, not the Whitecloaks, as they join to stand just behind Rayche. "I say to you, and I speak no word that is not true - this man is a channeler, and he is a danger to you all if you interfere."

Cavaeya grimaces at Televan. "Ignorant drivel," she informs him, cold as ice. "Why under the Light would we be spending our time in a stable? You Whitecloaks always have such convenient excuses for interfering in the business of others. Now. Stand aside before you discover what it means to defy Aes Sedai."

Televan glances towards each of the Aes Sedai, Ellorin included and then looks towards Kargan as the Lieutenant draws steal. The gaze he gives the other Child is not forgiving and portends a serious debriefing for drawing steel at this moment. Or maybe it was for saying what he did. "An interesting question, if he is such a creature. The justce of the Light is not so forgiving on the Shadow touched as yours." He says to Rayche. And just to infuriate her he adds, "But then one wouldn't expect one to be harsh on one's own kin."

"And your belief in the Light will keep you from this man melting the flesh from your bones? He is far into the madness, do not think for one moment he would not." says Rayche, voice and calm composture that of Aes Sedai pressing their authority - not easy to stand up to faced with seven of them, all intent on the same. "Stand back, and let us pass."

A twitch comes to Rayche's eye. Nervousness? Or controlled anger?

Ellorin takes a step back against the wall, fading into the shadows again despite Televan's obviously having noticed her.

Irinya remains where she is standing, still a little bit behind Ellorin and Cavaeya, where she was in the beginning.

Kargan clears his throat suddenly. "Uh, my lord... I shall fetch the Cairhenin guards, yes? They will let us have the Aes Sedai once they have seen this." He begins to back away towards the door.

Televan makes a noise that may actually be a chuckle. Seems Aes Sedai do not impress him much. Not surprising giving his past with them. "The Light shelters me from the Shadow and all it's workings. Death holds no fear for me." He glances at Kargan for the briefest of moments and then steps forward. Having made no response to the request to stand back and let them past, this move could be seen as threatening. Though if Televan means to attack or merely stand closer is up for judgement. The two Children behind him however seem more as if they are about to attack than before. They bare an inch of blade, but leave it at that.

Cavaeya strides up to Rayche's side, facing the Whitecloaks with a face like stone. "Stand aside," she says quietly. "Or you will be dealt with. Do you believe four of you can defeat seven Aes Sedai?"

Ellorin sweeps her hood back from her face, pale in the darkness of the stable. Still, she does not move.

"Then seek the Shadow elsewhere! This is not where you will find it, fool children." Rayche's calm face breaks, anger pressing its way through the Aes Sedai calm.

Kargan edges out of the inn stables, lowering his sword slightly. Fairly soon, his voice is raised for the guards faintly in the distance.

Televan glances at Cavaeya an arches an eyebrow, "Do you?" he asks simply. Glancing at Kargan he nods.

"Try to hinder us, and we will retaliate," Cavaeya says, anger in her voice now. "Our patience is at an end, Whitecloak. Move, or face the consequences of our fury."

Televan doesn't seem to move, but he is suddenly within a step of Rayche, his hand lashing in a backhanded slap at that soilment of the word Children upon the Aes Sedai's lips.

Ellorin lets out a gasp of surprise and indignant shock as Televan't hand hits Rayche's face.

Rayche reels from the blow, her grip on Saidar slipping. As does the weaves. Tanril once again finds himself free to move. And to grasp Saidin.

Tanril embraces the One Power with a shock to find the shield gone. Too much One Power, more so then this man can handle, as he starts channeling in a mad fury trying to control the tides that bring him near death. The stable yard is quiet, and then suddenly errupts in chaos. Earth explodes from bellow all around Tanril, large peices of dirt and rock spreading across the stable yard in a whirlwin. Beams bust through, the faint cries of horses is heard, but faint it is among the rumble of the ground.

Ellorin recoils as if she has been hit, dropping back against the wall of the stall. "Get back!" she shouts in what is probably futile desperation as the earthquakes begin.

Irinya blinks and curses loudly as this happens. She lashes out immediately, as soon as she can gather herself from the shock.. As Tanril starts to channel uncontrollably, she curses even louder... She is thrown backwards with a quiet cry, just barely avoiding to be hit by a falling beam.

Shock is written across Rayche's face, a small trickle of blood running form where the gauntleted hand scratched her face. Then, she disappears as Earth erupts around her, gone in a cloud of dust and stones.

Cavaeya grunts as she is hit by the backlash, doubling over. A moment later she is staggering to her knees as the ground shakes.

Being close to Rayche, and therefore Tanril, Televan is in the midst of the maelstrom. Engulfed in the cloud of dust, Televan is soon seen flying backwards out of it, to land hard against a support beam, cracking the wood. Blood mats his hair and shoulder.

Ellorin crumples to her knees, knocked down by the rippling of the earth beneath her. Frantically she looks around for something, anything, that might help...

Tanril is unhindered by the shaking earth, at least for a moment as he rises his hands in the air and channels further. The stormcloud of risen earth does well to shield him from immidiate view, as the man stumbles back and turns to where the Whitecloaks would be. With a raised arm to the side of the stable yard, air knocks the structure through. The rumbling of earth begins to quiet, yet the man makes a clear run to the exit. Few would catch sight of him as he runs through, the dust cloud serving as some cover.

The two accompanying Children are knocked off their feet, still being a few steps behind their Lord Captain. One of them seems to be unconcious but the other is able to get to his knees and crawls towards Televan.

Irinya starts to crawl on her knees away from the havoc, silken dress tattered and dusty.. She is holding the source.. Need to get out of the stables before it collapses. A large thickening of air can be seen against one of the already almost ruined wood plank walls, planks bursting outwards, creating a hole, through which Irinya tries to stumble through.. Though she is shaking and being tossed everywhere.. "Through the wall!!! " She cries.

Cavaeya staggers to her feet....just in time to be hit by a falling beam. She crumples without a sound.

Rayche crawls into view from the cloud of dust, nicks and scratches from small pebbles visible. Her right hand hangs limply, clearly broken. She bites down hard on the pain, lurching to her feet with a growl of defiance. She takes the hole of the stables to good use, lumbering out at a quick pace. "Sisters!" she calls with a dust-choked growl, the other two reds coming after moderately unhurt.

Irinya throws herself out through the hole in the stable wall.. A sharp broken plank ribbing the legs of her skirts open, leaving a bleeding scratch afterwards.

Ellorin gasps, "Oh, Light," as the beam hits Cavaeya. She tries to at least get into a kneeling position, and perhaps pull herself over to where she can do some good. "Where?" she calls to Rayche across the chaos, if she can even be heard....and then the dust clears and she sees the hole. Not even bothering to hide the wince of pain, she pushes herself to her feet.

Rayche waits outside, eyes quick to count who is with them. "Cavaeya." she hisses. "Taina, stay with her. Keep those Whitecloaks out of the way, get her to the Palace." she orders. With Cavaeya out of commision, she /does/ take the reins now. Her voice brokes no waddling about now.

Televan's groans are lost in the noise as the underofficer makes his way to him. The other Child shows signs of reviving, seems he was merely stunned. The Child nearest Televan cries out to him as the wooden beam cracks and brings down the loft upon him. Hay swirls among the dust, obscuring what happens to the Lord Captain.

Ellorin looks back towards Cavaeya, almost ready to stay herself - but at Rayche's order, she turns back towards the hole in the wall...and then the beam cracks. With a cry, she throws herself away from the falling loft, landing just on the other side of the hole from Rayche and Irinya.

Tanril runs through the opening in the stable yard, into the streets. Small explosions of Earth follow him.

Rayche shuffles over to Irinya quickly, placing one hand on her shoulder.

Scene changes to: Estate District: Cairhien, Cairhien

Moments before the earth would have shaken, and then bursts of dust would appear from about the sky. Into the Estate District a man runs, his eyes mad with fear, with power. Every some steps, he turns behind him, and columns of earth errupt from the ground.

At the hubbub of calamity, Catelynn's gaze turns vaguely towards the embodiment of chaos itself charging into the area; an air of curiosity to her manner, yet no alarm yet. Sapphirine eyes narrow in consideration of the puzzling event before her and her path towards the Bortawin gates pause in deference to it.

Tanril looks about for a point of escape, as screams and roars of horses can be heard from behind. Looking to wherever he can, he notices Catelynn and begins to channel. Flows of Air surround the woman, firm as they are, reaching around her arms and legs.

The woman goes still, as Power and emotional reaction may dictate. In fact, it is the passage of some heartbeats before Catelynn's gaze turns the pallid colour of one dawning into fear and alarm. Her normally soft soprano sounds out in a shriek, "By the Grace of the Creator, what is going on here?!" Perhaps a glimmer of indignation in the demand, but fear creeps inexorably in.

Tanril has Catelynn trapped in flows of air, he eyes her forward, her feet dragging the dirt as they he positions her between himself and the uncoming Aes Sedai. Mad anger touches his eyes, as the remnants of dust scatter the air from exlpoding Earth. "I'll kill her!" he screams with the aid of Air, her voice bellowing across the scene. Trapped with no more place to run, he begins channeling forms of offense.

Caliea grabs for a her sides and about four daggers each hand... she raises them quickly, jockeying for position..

Irinya arrives with Rayce into the scene. Her dark eyes sharp and hard. Her dress is tattered and completly ruined, she walks with complete determination.

Who's a pretty Aes Sedai then? Rayche certainly is not. She limps through the street, following the clear trail left by Tanril stoically. Her face is cut in several places from her earlier unpleasant encounter with a certain Tanril's none too pleasurable weaves. "Do not link. We will make Shields on our own. Ellorin, shield the woman from harm with Air. I will attempt to cut his weaves." she says in a fierce voice. Caliea she does not see, luckily for Caliea.

Ellorin is a few steps behind the Reds, struggling to keep up with them. Her already-pale face loses even more color as she sees what Tanril is doing, but she does not falter. "All right," she says to Rayche, the quickly spoken words her only indication that she heard.

Momentarily shocked from her voice, Catelynn's distress is more evident in her plight and from the expression on her features. Fright, confusion, helplessness all clamor to gain hold of her countenance. When the Aes Sedai come into view, she finds her voice again, only to utter shrieks of unintelligible words.

Irinya embraces the source.. Ready for something on her own, but waits till Rayche and Ellorin starts..

Rayche walks stoically onward, eyes intent on Tanril. Spirit knives fly out towards where his weaves must be, followed by a quick attempt to shield. (Would fail, since you have embraced)

Ellorin's face takes on a look of even greater intensity as she stares across the square at Catelynn and Tanril. The woman's cries are the only things that evoke any change in her expression, and she winces in sympathy. "HOld on," she says, her voice so hoarse the words may not even carry across the distance. To channelers, the reason for her concentration is clear: she is creating the shield of Air, sending it towards Catelynn and - she hopes - sliding it in around Tanril's binding weaves.

Caliea growns and slides her daggers back in... She moves over towards him... "Hey, knuckle head, why don't you pick on someone who can defend herself!"

Irinya builds up something.. Even if no one not being female channeler can see it.. Something... big. Her dark eyes are concentrated on Tanril.

Tanril screams in a rage as his weaves begin to fumble through, Catelynn lifting into the air and struggling through. There is no notice of their words, of their actions, only that of his instict to survive. His eyes peer to the side, unseen weaves of Air wrapping themselves around a carriage just near the group of Aes Sedai. Closest to Rayche. Tanril takes in more power, more then he could likely handle, as he lifts the carriage and crashes it toward the Aes Sedai. That act alone draining him, Catelynn falls from his flows of Air. He drops with her, to one knee, but stairs at the Aes Sedai.

Irinya now lets go of her weave, channeling so she almost can't hold any more, close to bursting... Her large fist of air comes swiftly towards Tanril, very likely to knock him over in a very unpleasant manner.. Her dark eyes are hard, concentrated, her coppery face expressionless and grim.

Rayche catches sight of the carriage bare moments before it is about to strike. All her power goes into her next weave, for without it, she would surely be crushed. Air and Fire weave tightly, then launches upwards in a ball of Fire. Her power in Air would not be enough to stop it, thus she must destroy it before it hits. With a splintering crash, the wagon breaks up, raining down around Rayche, who disappears under it.

Ellorin's protective weaves shield Catelynn from initial harm, but the Brown's attention is immediately diverted by the carriage. Not even thinking to use the Power, she throws up her hands instinctively to shield her head from the rain of flaming splinters.

Catelynn crumples to the ground at the sudden lack of support, a grunt of surprise forced from her. Dazed, she gives her head a shake, tumbling loose more errant curls as the carriage goes hurtling towards her protectors. That is what she spies first, struggling against cumbersome skirts to rise...and do something.

Just after her fist of Air is unleashed against Tanril, she is thrown backwards by the wagon, standing just out of range, but is thrown backwards by the impact and splinter.

Tanril lifts from one knee and takes some steps back, still an animal trapped in his rage. He is waivering, his head spinning as he channels losely. Failed attempts at errupting the Earth singe into nothing. And then they do, but leaps away from the Aes Sedai, and without the strength of before. The man grows pail, and seemed to already have forgotten about Catelynn. His madness is clear.

Ellorin releases the weave that was shielding Catelynn, freeing her to move. But that wasn't the whole intention of her action, it seems - Ellorin's attention is now focused on the blazing remnants of the carriage, close by her. Paying no heed to the splinters raining down on her, singeing her hair and face, she weaves Water, and from the humid air, droplets collect and create another rain, putting out the flames.

Unseen to Tanril, Air crashes into his side, and tosses him to the side and away from Catelynn. Falling to he side, he roles on the ground, mad eyes trying to see weaves invisible to him. The fingers of his hands spread out, and that's the only warning. Those eyes look to the ground, and a moment later it springs into the air at the Aes Sedai in a tidle wave of dust. Not enough for damage beyond falling rocks, but enough to cover him as he stands. That mad howl is heard again. Catelynn is safe to the side of this rushing dust.

Catelynn manages to get to her feet with all the grace of the bewildered child she has quite abruptly been transformed into. She glances to the burning carriage, the battered Aes Sedai around it, to the man now behind her and finally to the droplets falling out of the sky. The madness of it all is too much for her sheltered Cairhienin upbringing; all she can do is stand there and gape.

Irinya, being thrown back from the crashing wagon, is still holding Saidar, standing, confused, trying to focus on the situation.. Trying to get a glimpse of Tanril... Trying to catch him in her weaves.. or throw him off guard, again and again, till he loses grasp of Saidin.. Trying to shield him when he channels she knows she cannot do.. She needs to assault him elsewise.. She can't concentrate on the people by the wagon, someone needs to go after Tanril.

Ellorin lets the rain fall, and lets her eyes turn away from the wrecked carriage to survey the rest of the scene...gasping for breath through the dust, there is an almost desperate look in her eyes as she tries to find something to do. She meets Irinya's similarly wandering gaze, with a helpless shake of her head.

"Don't let him go!", Irinya snaps, still ttrying to locate Tanril through the dust and smoke.. Anything..

A sudden wind blows, clearing the dust....the rain is keeping itself up by now, real clouds beginning to condense, and Ellorin's attention is now focused on the cloud that Tanril created...and on blowing it away so that he can be seen.

The command, clear in lull from the madness, strikes Catelynn as a direct order. With a puzzled frown, she makes her way towards the man that had so recently kept her prisoner. Arms raised to carry out Irinya's order, she attempts to 'not let him go'.

Tanril stands and steps forward as the dust begins to clear about the viewing, though Catelynn running at him goes without notice. Not until she actually manages to grab him with both arms. Well, even then he barely takes notice, though another weave to burst the ground fails in location. His hand raises at the Aes Sedai, palms opening. Strong weaves of Fire come together, as the fireball leaps out of his hand. Tanril seems even surprised by this, the noble lady struggling against him causing him to tip to the side. The fireball heads at Ellorin.

Catelynn's struggle against the man spewing fireballs is weak at best; it is her surprise at the sudden eruption of fire that sends her balance in the direction he has already tipped, encouraging the fall. Her face, covered in soot and dust, nonetheless remains pallid as her horrified wide-eyed stare follows the path of the conflagration.

Ellorin lets out a choked gasp as she sees the fireball, and for an instant she is frozen in fear - an instant too long. By the time she recovers enough to throw herself out of the way of the fireball, it is almost upon her. With her last burst of power, she makes the wind whip up even stronger - for a few seconds, there is a gale around Tanril. And then the wind abruptly dies down, for Ellorin has lost her grip on the Power. Flames engulf her, catching her cloak, her dress, her hair on fire. She rolls to and fro on the ground in panic and pain, shrieking.

Irinya, apparently not being Tanril's target as of now, stalks towards him, lashing out with another fist of Air, intending to knock him over again, till he is so confused he cannot channel any longer. Can that work?

Tanril struggles against the fit of wind over taking him, his arm tossing Catelynn to the side with force. Enough force to send her steps away, though the wind takes them both and tosses them in opposit direction. Tanril stands to one knee before another fist of Air sends him flying and rolling to his back. The One Power lost to him, he panics! Eyes wide he seizes the One Power again, hands rising as the Earth erupts before him. His eyes work, grasping at more power then he can hold. Invisible weaves working the ground bellow as he screams in pain an panic. His hands point forward, fire leaping from them and then the near exlposion occurs, sending Tanril back as his own weaves of Fire get trapped about him.

Irinya has seen this before... When this much mad power is under work.... She stops, frozen for a moment. Then screams. "Run!" She turns, starting to fumble away from Tanril, trying to keep on her feet to continue running from the destruction to come..

Ellorin isn't running anywhere, unfortunately. Still on fire, her screams are now mingling with Tanril's, their conditions ironically similar as the flames rise.

Irinya is running, and so heads towards the wrecks of the carriage.. The flames still haven't reached there, she channels desperately, pieces of wood flying away, trying to find Rayche under it.. She is constantly cursing.

Under the wreckage, barely shielded by a fluttering, tied-off Air Shield lies rayche, now a total mess. Small pieces of wood chip has her looking like a pincushion, and a large bluish bump on her head marks where one of the larger pieces bounced off her, moments before she completed the shield and then fainted dead away.

Fire leaps up high from the body of Tanril, his hands flailing in the air as their on fire. The ground rumbles under his weaving, an earthquake begin to rumble. Taking in more, and more of the One Power he screams in pain and then suddenly is muffled. Muffled by the flames that over-take his face. The ground suddenly goes quiet, Tanril's body burning in unheard screams until he stops his struggles, mouth wide-open in his silent scream.

Ellorin's shrieks are the only sound now, besides Irinya's curses. She writhes on the ground as the flames climb higher and higher, burning away the layers of cloak and dress.

Catelynn stumbles away from the mad channeler, miraculously keeping her feet despite her skirts' efforts to trip her up. Again, Irinya's voice resounds as an order and the girl makes her way haltingly towards the Aes Sedai. When she falls again, she no longer has the wits to throw out her hands and catch herself. And so she falls atop the Brown Sedai writhing on the ground.

Silence. Strange, eerie silence as Ellorin's panicked screams suddenly cease. The flames, now muffled by the weight of Catelynn's clothing, are turning to smoky remnants of what they once were. As for Ellorin, her eyes are now closed, and her face oddly peaceful despite the tiny flames still licking at the ends of her hair.

Irinya continues channeling pieces of wood from the wreckage, trying to find Rayche.. "Damn you, girl! Don't you dare leading us and and just disappear!", she curses.. She is inwardly hoping that she is far enough from Tanril, that she can get Rayche out in time.

Finally, the wreckage is cleared enough to get Rayche out, given the shield is dispelled that is.

The sudden silence almost lulls the desperately confused Catelynn into a sense of security. She stays on the ground a moment, calmer now that there's less screaming, but the calm doesn't last for long. Realisation dawns through the cobwebs of her stunned mind and she almost jumps back to her feet. The Aes Sedai, first shrieking in pain, now utterly peaceful? Shakingly, she reaches out to try and rouse the Brown Sister, "Ellorin? Are you all right?" When her question goes unanswered, she tries shaking harder.

Ellorin doesn't respond, even when Catelynn takes hold of her burned arms. Her eyes remain closed, the rising and falling of her chest with every shallow breath she takes the only movement.

Irinya channels herself through Rayche's shield, with weaves of Air as well as her own arms, pulling the other Sister away from the wreckage. She is strong enough to lift a person with Air, and along with this, she is carrying Rayche, with the One Power, and her arms, away from the wreckage, laying her down gently. She stands, looking around, trying to locate the others.. Herself, she cannot heal even a bruise..

Kneeling beside Ellorin now, Catelynn stubbornly refuses to accept Ellorin's state. "Please? Aes Sedai?" She glances around now, searching for some kind of reassurance from the smoking ruins of the scene around her.
